Big onepiece Padouk platter woodturned

This is my forst video, so not the best, practice make "perfect".
Turned this big 53cm padouk platter on my Oneway 2436 woodlathe.
Woodturning is my passion and my job, owning the biggest woodturningshop in Denmark.

You have a great lathe sir. The Oneway 2436 is what I once had. Keep making video's...for your first one, this was quite nice. And speak some Danish...that is so cool.

That is one large Paduak blank.
Very pretty does it grow locally?
I love turning Paduak just finishing one right now.

@@randysmith4344 I know it would be really expensive to ship to the US.
You have several options domestic. The I use in the film is 12" long. Here you have many different types and sizes, I can also recommend the original Oneway toolrest, also really good.
