    Great Video, I have had the privilege of riding RM31 in Pahiatua, it is my favourite railcar, thanks for sharing

    Nice capture. Interesting the 2 different designs from a similar period, one English built with motive power inside the car body (ala Silver Fern, complete with triple axle bogie) and one home grown, with under floor power (ala Fiat 88 seater). Living in Wellington I have seen the "standard" class railcars and the FIAT's often at Wellington Station in my youth, always admired their lines. Perhaps one or both of the Vulcans can make the trip north while it's still possible to take railed vehicles across the strait
