The reason why bedrock runs better on low end computers is due to the fact that it is rendered by directX unlike java which is rendered by open gl
Older CPUs and video cards cannot run or have trouble running OpenGL while they can run directX flawlessly
I have a 16 year old laptop(almost as old as me lmao). I tried java edition on it, I was barely even getting 10 fps even with lowest settings with tlauncher, optifine and other fps mods, my framerate was barely crossing 10fps
On the other hand I tried windows 10(bedrock edition) and I got 45-60 fps on high settings with fancy graphics on
(Both versions were 1.17.1)
This is not only the case with minecraft but with every game that uses open gl on older hardware
For example: Half life 1 ran on 60-100 fps in directX setting but ran on only 30 fps with heavy lag spikes on OpenGL setting
This could of course vary from computer to computer
But all I'm saying is that bedrock runs objectively better on low end hardware, please stop arguing about different fps mods and performance on java edition
you forgot abort it: in java you have easy maps and mods and better comunity things but in bedrock you have
microtransactions(payment for maps and texture pack), broken redstone, no optifine and the best thing YOU CAN DIE BY PLACING A THORCH and more.

Legacy edition 🔛🔝
Real
Legacy and Java are my favorites. Bedrock had some potential but it’s falling off. I really liked the simplicity of legacy edition but I do switch between java and legacy relatively frequently. The devs really cared about legacy edition, the game ran really well, ik it’s an older version but still. Legacy is a joy to play. Some things like cross platform support, more world size options, voice chat, fixed textures, etc would make it amazing. Playing console is fun because it’s more relaxed to just sit on the couch with a controller than it is to sit alone in my room at my computer. I do think it would be great if legacy had a way to download different versions like the java launcher. Some of the newer updates are pretty good but the others just don’t add much and only make the game feel more cluttered. Updates i’d appreciate would be Aquatic, Village and Pillage, Nether, and optional caves and cliffs world gen. I kinda just started yapping but I guess I will post this anyway.

As a Bedrock redstoner, I can say that Bedrock's redstone mechanics are generally easier to understand than Java's redstone mechanics. Java has quasi-connectivity, block-spitting (with sticky pistons), and BUD while Bedrock doesn't (which generally makes redstone much harder to do, depending on what youre making). Bedrock allows pistons to move containers (chests, furnaces, etc.) while Java doesn't.

These sound effects gave me a headache
Bedrock gang
👇
Tell that to the 40 fps i have in bedrock compaired to the 200 - 400 i get in java
Mojang won't fix their input lag either
Try putting render distance to 96 in java good luck with that(i think you have 40 fps just cuz it is on max by default)
@@yqzuwait isnt that the problem where that minecraft bedrock will take millisecond to react like moving ur mouse?
You guys use cheap devices then, java fcking relies on mods, my phone can handle max render distance without any frame drops
@@kaimonstrikesagain same
I can easily get to 32 chunks but default max is 13
So i can pair with JAVA which is on PC
Also much less lag anyway on bedrock
I like how every 1 second there is another sound
Bedrock Edition will come at java level if Mojang add mods support to bedrock edition
For the best of everybody, lets hope that Camman18 wouldn't see this short
Why the Java players bullying bedrock players
Because bedrock runs like absolute trash. There is barely any good commands to use in creative.
Only two reasons I could think of.
@@baldfredbaldfredbaldfred5422 THX
@@baldfredbaldfredbaldfred5422i tried bedrock and its really stable on my igpu. I could even go to 96 chunks but its like 30 fps but theres no fps mods on bedrock so its really impressive
Bedrock is a cash grab, extremely glitchy and restricted.
Meanwhile java.. you literally can turn Java into anything you want
Dude, Fallen Trees are in Bedrock, i see them all the time 💀
Screw both versions legacy is the best
@@diegosandoval1847 aggressive are we
they NEED to bring back 4J Studios for the console ports yo
Best of both worlds locked in 1.13 with a tiny map… perfection
most valid opinion here
Let's go finally someone else who thinks bedrock is also better than java
"They didn't code it." Buddy they used c++ to create the engine the game runs on. Just like Java uses.. well Java.
no free skins? no free texture packs? no virus-free datapacks? no free mods? no free maps?
