Im going to make a video on this for next week hopefully. But I see the biggest complaints coming from the latest events is "None of it matters" and you are right. None of it matters at all. But no Marvel Event or DC event has ever had lasting effects. Theres normally a short aftermath, but no one ever talks about it or references it ever again. Venom is the only one affected by King In Black and thats only because they changed writers. Secret Wars lasting affects were a good guy Doctor Doom, until he just wasn't anymore. Secret Empire's lasting affects was, people didnt trust Steve, until they did again. Civil War was the Superhero Registration act, which admittedly stayed a little while, but was mostly shoved to the side unless the heroes were directly affected. The style of storytelling that American Comic Books use is circular. It will ALWAYS snap back to the status quo, no event matters. You enjoy what happens, when it happens and then wait for the next thing. Thats why things like Indie books and Manga work so much better for the sake of Story Telling. They are typically written by one guy with a vision and an end goal. So that means we're getting to the actual ending they planned instead of swapping writers and the new writer wanting to tell their own story with things back at Status Quo. At least DC kind of resets every 5 years or so, Marvel just keeps moving forward.
Benny I am curious if you think the Judgment on Jean was fair given that she is found guilty for what the Dark Phoenix did in a Clone of her? Also would this not mean that Tony should be then Judged based on what he did as Superior Ironman, after all at lest he was not a Clone. I feel this shows how badly this whole Judgment part was written because we are left having to fill in Plot Inconsistencies like this. I liked the Story until it started passing random Judgments on people that made no sense, but everyone seemed to agree with.
I kinda like the Eldritch horror-type ending where there is an unbeatable thing, that you can't do anything about, out there. It's always watching you, and when it decides to act again, there is nothing you can do to stop it. That being said, I know that at the end of an event, everything needs to be reset. I just didn't know how hard of a reset this was going to be so that there literally were minimal if any consequences.
I think the biggest surprise of this arc was Tony Stark managing to pass. But this arc definitely shows why he did so, as well as Jean Grey failed, very effectively.
The Frankensteined Celestial's judgment was fundamentally flawed because it was *based* on Tony when it was made. It realizes that at the end and that's why it reverses all its actions. Being based on Tony explains why it inexplicably judged against Steve of all people. It's not divine judgment, it's just a science project gone wrong.
The fact is…Comics explained was right Jean grey did fail and was just lashing out because she failed and not accepting that she did stuff that can’t be erased she did wipe out a entire star system and no amount of good is just gonna undo that casually
@@purpleheartneptune6267 ironically Progenitor did what she could have done years ago. Literally undo the mistake with their cosmic powers. It’s not like it would have been hard for her with the power of the Phoenix Force.
@@purpleheartneptune6267 Problem is that the Dark Phoenix was in a Clone Body of Jean. She was in a Cocoon in the bottom of the Sea, thats how she came back after. Judging her for what a Clone did makes as much sense as judging Peter for what Kain or Ben does, but even less so since her Clone was being influenced by a Cosmic Being. If you do still see this as viable then Tony should have been Judged for what he did as Superior Ironman. I think he should because after becoming normal again he admitted he fought against turning good again because he liked getting to fall victim to his Vices again. I just chalk it all up to bad writing when it came to the Judgment.
@@nobalkain624 it’s spefically been stated here “no no that was her that was just classic comic excuses” in this event that was stated to be Jean grey the main Jean grey no sugar coating or anything
My favourite Benny/Joker line is from the Dark Knights Metal: The Forge, when Joker is trying to the destroy the miracle machine, he hits Hal with a crowbar, and Benny say's "This isn't FUNNY!"
Uhh hell yeah let’s see that Spider-Man issue and also see you talk about sum more Aliens on “Absolutely”, dawg all these channels got like REALLY chill vibes.
I love recommending your videos to my friends that don't read comic, so we can talk about the stories. Please consider doing the X-men red tie-in's they are my favorite part of the story and I would love to share them with my friends. Thanks for the hard work your narrations are the best in the game.
Only one that comes to mind is a Spider-Man and Black Cat comic. Where Spider-Man, Daredevil ask Nightcrawler on how to fight a teleporter, or something like that.
That was a interesting 🧐 ending hell yeah I wanna see spider man some crazy shit right there lol 😂 I like how the truth finally comes out cuz the truth will set you free lol 😝
My issue is that the Judgements made little sense and seemed to follow random rules to the point that the Fans need to fill in all the holes that leads to arguments. This started off well but had just horrible writing by the end.
I'm going to be honest can someone please tell me who this Jada girl is that keeps on popping up in this storyline like who is she why does Captain America care about her why does she seem to be some important figure
Wow I'm so glad I gave up reading comics 10 years ago, Marvel has really turned to crap with it's storytelling, what a lame ass crossover event! I've read every X-men book and crossover from 60's original Uncanny #1 through to 2012 and this now is the all-time low. The whole immortal X-men Krakatoa stories are downright painful to read, the end of the X-men came many years ago in my eyes, these books now don't deserve to have the name X-men on their covers. OMG I just seen that cover, all the heroes with their thumbs down, couldn't have said it better myself! Don't even make sense, thumb's down, so they want everyone dead?! Had to edit this my post, I'd be laughing if I wasn't so sad...
Talk about a complete waisted of time. It was a terrible story with no real thought and of course it ends in the most dull of ways. Marvel needs to fire there woke untalented writers and do a very hard reboot

Such an awesome story! hearing what happens to our friendly neighborhood spidey would be interesting....btw finally at heavensward! 😁
I want to see the story where Gwen Stacy comes back to life!

Benny I gotta see those spiderman stories
Perfect timing, thanks Benny
The Axe effect. Yes! Spray axe all over non- stop. See how many heroes would survive? Lol.
Wish Black Panter got judged, or Omega Red, even Juggernaut. I like Dr Dooms judgement.
Benny I gotta see that Spider-Man tie in comic.
IT PASSED LOGAN?!?!?!?!? that's how you know somethings wrong 🤣🤣🤣
I like to think Deadpool is just eating a chimicganga on the beach and just doesn't care
this part with Ajax was so good
To quote Q from Star Trek NG, The test is never over.
Can do you Deadpool and biggie
Thanks for a great vid!
Damn is even spider dead
At least he and MJ are now together...in death!😐
Good timing
That Gwen story sounds juicy

Please do Spiderman
Ya know this ask would be So much easier and quicker if the progenitor just used.....The Hat of Discipline
wow you did in 3 parts the same story that Rob did in 10 parts
Can you cover some of the spin offs for the full story
Spider-Man and Doctor Doom passed...... but not Captain America. That's...... dumb, but okay.
Just wondering if you have done or are doing Spawn?
Did I just hear that the actual Gwen Stacy has been resurrected? Tell us about that.
Ok.
Nice
I need that Spider-Man spin-off!!!!

somehow, the whole story lacks something.
Man,
Fantastic story and good energy... Would like to here a female do the stories with you for the female parts one day.
That ending was really bad wow.
Mhm especially the Jean grey being justified stuff it tries to pull
The overacting is painful to listen to at times. Both the comic writing and dialogue, as well as the voiceover.
Too bad this story won't result in a very hard reboot. Marvel comics and there writers the last 10 years has been nothing less than a dumpster fire

Well people who died earlier in the war and people in Arakkii are still dead including Magneto.

How can a man have a metal skeleton? How can a ww2 Era soldier with an unbreakable shield live for 60+ years while being trapped in ice?
