- This couple went viral after their cute date had a beautiful twist. They had a great time together, while they both painted something nice. First, she revealed her masterpiece-a painting of herself. Then the man asked him to close her eyes, then took something in his hand, and set up the scene. But when she asked her to open her eyes, she couldn’t hide her feelings, and burst into tears. It was a painting of their perfect proposal next to the ring in the hands of her love. My first thought was that it looked self-centered that she painted herself, but after reading everyone else's comments, that seems silly. It's a 15 second video and we know nothing. It looks like they're at one of those sip & paint places, and for all we know, the theme was to draw a self-portrait. It's possible that it wasn't even her, but a painting of a live model. These text-to-speech videos often get details wrong. We're reading too much into it.

Why insicure? Psychologists use drawing and pictures to describe what's in the head of their patiences... if they give you some piece of paper and a kid draw something, he will draw things he likes : a car, a house, mom, dad, a sport...
Even with adults this have a meaning, if she paint herself in a dinner with her fiancé or future husband, that means for sience, that she's a egocentric person because she only see herself and not the situation she's in : a beautiful dinner with her husband
You can interpretate what I said as one of the possibilities, so don't take that for something to accuse you or the people in the video (that none of us knows), but I give you a logic and scientific interpretation of what you see.

I don't know you obviously but I think it would be more constructive to simply communicate your desires to each other to steer your relationship in the right direction, every person is different so this thought might not have occurred to him for a plethora of reasons. Noone like being compared to someone else and as I said COMMUNICATION IS KEY.
Btw here are some tips:
Men live for responsibilities and competence, if you make him feel competent and also encourage him to strive to be so even more (especially through gratitude, appreciation and encouragement) then his feelings of responsibility and love for you will grow exponentially. Remember a relationship require effort from both parties, often times we need to put our egos aside and relate and relay things as the term suggests.
