I love that you cried and that you did not hold back my friend for when I was growing up 57 years ago my grandfather took me on his lap and said Young Man I want to tell you something and remember that a real man can show his emotions and cry. I'm glad he said that because I was never shy about showing my emotions like you did when you were touched in such a way. I play the movie Jesus from Sight & Sound when I go to bed to let the word soak in and to scar away the enemy if he decides to stop by. I just started watching you two yesterday and I love what I see I love the respect for God for its such a rarity in a fallen world. God Bless u both:)

I have been to Sight and Sound to see a number of their productions and am blown away each and every time. The one thing that actually gave me chills was when the whale came out over the audience. Amazing! We are scheduled to see Queen Esther in August. I pray it won't have to be cancelled as so many performances have already been due to the corona virus. I also have the DVD set and hope they come out with another one. Recently they aired Jesus on TBN. Easter weekend in April and again on May13th. All in all I watched it 4 times and loved it each and every time. I especially loved the portrayal of Nicodemus by Rodney Coe. Bravo!

Bill & Elizabeth, we have been to Sights and sounds in March and what you have described is ABSOLUTELY true. There is almost no words to describe how talented the cast is, and how amazing this was. We had the same emotions you felt. This is truly the GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD. I was also AMAZED to see the sets and lighting and wished i could have been back stage and you let that happen Bill, Thank you. I could go on and on, But everyone needs to see this story told. My wife and I are going for the Christmas show in December and can't wait. Also a BIG THANK YOU to your friends that opened the hearts to show you around. This couple I am sure expresses the love the entire cast and the family that runs Sights & Sound is truly about. Thank You ALL.
Been to Sight & Sound in Lancaster several times and loved every show. Daniel was one of my favorites. I saw Jesus last year and seeing your video makes me want to see it again. Incredible! I was in tears from just the little I was able to see in your video. It was just so gratifying to see the amazing efforts being taken to portray and share the blessings of Jesus. We have seen three different shows in Branson, and yes there are no words to express how amazing those shows are. Our first was Noah and I'll never forget it. We can't vacation anymore,but I'll look into getting the DVDs.Thanks for the idea.

I saw "Jesus" with a young church group of mine. I absolutely LOVED it! I also saw Jonah. Of the shows that I have seen, Jesus was very well done! With that said, I'm not saying Jonah was worse. Jonah was incredible also! I think the reason why Jesus stood out to me more was because He is the main reason why we have Christianity! I'm going to be getting the DVD soon. Sight and Sound is such a neat place! Not just of the shows they do, but how everything comes together to make such a miraculous show! One thing that sticks out to me is how long it takes for one production to be on stage! One day you have an idea and then 4 years later it's finally on stage! It always makes me wonder what production they are working on at the moment! :)

I know i LOVE SIGHT AND SOUND THEATER ! It’s just so so touching when i went I cried and really wanted to shout and just praise My wonderful LORD. Hey, this is the way i look at it.... people can scream and yell at a ball game. Than i can give my Lord praise. Thanks for the video

Awesome! Just blown away with the realism. I went to many plays in my younger years and found that in a "live" setting, as an audience member, I felt like I was part of the play. You can never get that feeling with a movie. And none of the plays had such realistic and detailed settings like you were showing. To feel like you are part of the crowd listening to Jesus or an actual on looker mourning his crucifiction must have been overwhelming. No wonder you were both moved to tears! Thank you for sharing your incredible experience. You must have felt honored to see how all of this is being done. Blessings to you both!
Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU! For pronouncing Lancaster correctly! I live about 12 miles south of Sight and Sound theater in southern Lancaster county. It's a wonderful experience at Sight and Sound!
I grew up in Philly, so I know how to pronounce it. (I thought about doing a pronunciation tutorial in this video, but decided against it, LOL )

Wow I heard of Sight & Sound from another UA-camr who watched Jesus and he also gave us a little inside sneak peek it was amazing. It is on my bucket list for sure. I can't wait to go see it myself. I am as choked up watching here now as when I saw it live! Were you ever able to make it to the older, smaller theater they had down the road? It had a water show that was set to music and lights. Our best Sight and Sound memories are of going there the day after Christmas one year, seeing the water show, then going up to the big theater to see The Miracle of Christmas. When the 3 camels come from different directions, stop and kneel in front of the baby Jesus in the manger; it's breathtaking! I'm teary-eyed again. Thanks for taking us with you on this insiders look.

I had asked you to please pray for me on another video I watched of your guys's. I didn't watch you for Jesus but I am a Christian too and you guys just have the peace, joy and love that I want so desperately. I'm so tired of the worlds stress and heartache. I'm at the end of my rope and I really need to find Gods peace again because I've been unhappy for so long. I'm just soo sad and lonely and I don't know how to change it anymore. I feel stuck here even praying all day long

Man, what an experience!! I'm so glad you got the chance to see this. And it was so nice of them to give you such a thorough behind the scenes tour afterward! I have not seen any Sight and Sound productions, but I really want to now. I have to tell you, my husband and I go to a very large (10,000 plus) church in Los Angeles, and every year they do an Easter Passion Play show. It's wonderful, and after seeing this video, I can tell that someone must have seen the Sight and Sound production, because it emulates the Jesus experience! Of course it can't match the sets, effects, etc., but I'm proud of their all-volunteer efforts, which do include thunderous sound effects and live animals! So neat. Thank you for sharing this; I'm sure a lot of people will be heading to Branson and Lancaster now! :)

Excelsior Springs has the Passion Play in Arkansas with live animals 2 stages real people was excellent to watch done outdoors
As a Musician I have stood on big stages and that was cool, but nothing compares to this and the story line behind it all. Thanks for taking us along the back stage tour. Very COOL!!

My mom and dad went to Sight and Sound in Lancaster decades ago....and loved it. Who doesn’t?! I can’t remember what they saw....but, I “think” it may have been Noah. (???) She always wanted me to go, but, that’s never happened. Thanks for sharing all of this. 💕 You always have such interesting, captivating videos. Good job!

I would love to go there one day, I bet being at the live show is amazing. Nate, Dorianna, Emmitt and little Pepper, such a sweet young couple, very nice to meet them. Another connection to Jesus is you may already know is the donkey, it is the only animal with a cross on it's back, a donkey carried Mary to Bethlehem, carried Jesus to Jerusalem. I would have needed a full box of kleenex and Emmitt is such a cute little boy and very well behaved for his age, it's so hard for them to stay still at that age. I am not Neil , looks like fun , good to see statue is designed from original scripture of a lion , Isaiah 11:6 , instead of newer versions of a wolf .
This is an iconic statue that has been around for awhile. We love it, and we have a miniature of it in our home. I’ve never seen one with a wolf.
Tinyhouse Prepper , It is sapos to be a lion , but new bibles have changed scripture to indicate a wolf instead of the lion
We would like to know which one you prefer ,we would like to go to one and need to know which one you think is best ?
Which one what? Theater? Or show? We have not been to the theater in Branson. And they only show one show per year. Samson and Jesus were both phenomenal! In Lancaster, Jesus will be showing until October. Then their Christmas show. Then Esther will start in March. In Branson, Samson is showing this summer. I don’t know about next year. You can’t go wrong with either show!

We haven’t been in the theater in Branson. It’s probably as wonderful as Lancaster.
