This is one of many reasons to get a 3d printer. And if you like to modify to make the part even stronger you can add support here and there. And if we all 3d model our broken parts and put online, then we all would have access to a 3d file library for free saving tons of time to make other cool stuff to share. Since spare parts was nowhere to be found i did not want to spend $300-$500 on a new fridge. Spent a few hours modeling and printing and now i have a fridge where i actually can use all the shelves again. But again, not every part is easy to recreate cause the plastic is moulded to the metal parts and 1000s of people would say its impossible, then again there are a few that gona say. Hold my beer! You can get ABS fillament, and with an soldering iron you could weld the old parts back together and with fresh printed parts you can weld it to the original part if parts are missing.
