Hi guys, loving your content, it's packed with value and has been an excellent free education tool for me, so many thanks for all your effort and hard work. I have a question: Is the deposit you give to the real estate agent on signing the contract in addition to the deposit required by the bank to get the home loan? Do you give the bank the 8-20% deposit and then need to give the real estate agent a seperate deposit? Or do you just need to show the bank you have the 8-20% deposit, and then decide how much you give to the real estate agent on settlement? Hope that makes sense. Cheers :)
Heyya Cal! The deposit you give the real estate agent becomes part of your deposit at the end. It basically gets adjusted at the end, when you apply for the loan you'll give the bank a copy of the real estate agent deposit receipt (which shows how much you paid) and then any deposit you've already paid the real estate agent comes off the deposit at the end. So for example: - Real Estate Agent Deposit - $10,000 - Total Deposit Needed - $50,000 - Total Deposit Outstanding at Settlement - $40,000 Hope this answers it, if not let me know? And thanks heaps for watching!!
Luckily I don’t even care about much of those things except the land and insurance, I’m just trying to get in this house, totally willing to do the worst

Back ground music is annoying and please don't add it to other videos
Yeah sorry we sorted this in the newer videos. thanks for watching.
I signed a contract but want to back off . Is that possible.
Yeah probably best to chat to your solicitor about that
Why does that distracting horrible music have to be playing in the background when you are talking of things people need to concentrate on
Thanks for the feedback.
