Hi, would just like to ask regarding the floor with parts in revit. It looks very efficient but is there a way to make different heights for example floor tiles of the cr that has a negative height of 50mm?
Love from India.
Q: Is there a work around for the 'curb ramp' option in the Revit LT 2020 version with the 'Shape Editing' Panel not being available? Thanks nm
The create part tool is useful indeed but how can you schedule these different materials afterwards?
Thanks
Thanks a lot for the video, I'd like to add a question
I made the division in the floor and I'm able to change materials however I also would like to delete some parts that overlap with the walls but revit doesn't allow you, how can I make it?
Great

Great tips. Can i use this to make folds(jumps) in slabs or the best thing is to model them as walls please?
Also, is there away to make an invisible line type in Revit please?

Hey Balkan! Can you do a video on control joints in floor slab?
thank you for your videos. i have this issue, maybe you have come across it. when export revit to lumion, sometimes i get a weird shadow in the joint of walls, as if there is a gap in between. i have even tried the "chafe" command that adjust how walls connect? perpendicular, at an angle, etc. i still get this weird shadow effect that completely ruins the rendering. i can even send you an example if you need to see it. thanks in advance.
Thank you very helpfull sir . I have face a problem this is , reveal is provide in wall but not provide in floor edge thickness surface. Why does it possible sir
Can I change different floor finish thickness straightaway ?

Hello, when you watch the modified surface in 2D (plan view) it disappear! Any idea why?
Great Video , i think the structural floor should be separated from the finish layer , because at the end the structural elements will be replaced with the structure model as a link .
I also did that on my project..
Yedi Supriadi me too , I’m actually working in a company and we do that for all projects .
And what with a curb near the ramp?
Bro I used Create Parts command for a wall, then I changed the material for the front portion. But when I do rendering for that view the wall reflects it's original material properties rather than the given one.. please tell me the solution for this, it will help me a lot. And thank you for the great videos bro
dear sir can you moddel sri lanka waterfront buildings
Hi,
If we divide the floor into parts and then apply new material into some area as you explained then, Will that affect the quantity of materials? As at the end we need material quantity.
hi balkan did you off the floor in VG ? ty
how can I use 2 materials(finishes) on an interior side of a wall (8m), without having to create 2 individually joined walls? Say were 1 portion is the bathroom (4m) and Kitchen of (4m).
