- Hello walking watchers, I hope your week is going well! I took a little vacation this week to the island of Saint Maarten. The island is broken into a French and Dutch sides and has amazing weather and sandy beaches.
In this walk, I take you around the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort where I stayed for six days. The resort is located close to Phillipsburg and has a car rental on site.

Wife and I are considering this resort for December 2023. Want to bring our kids (3 and 4 years old). Is this resort family friendly? Also getting mixed reviews on the staff.
I didn't see many kids there to be honest with you. I thought the staff was okay...nothing stood out. Not much for the kids to do.

What type of entertainment is there at the resort? Price wise They have all inclusive, just breakfast and a room only. Any input of what’s worth what
@@beachgirl8345 honestly, there are little to no activities worthwhile at the resort. We spend most of our time exploring the island in a car rental. Really nice coastline and good food on the french side. Loterie Farm 2023 was good for drinks as well.
How did your visit go? I am interested to know. In my humble opinion, we loved the resort overall. However, the staff were hit or miss, the activities for kids are limited, and I would not suggest the all inclusive package. We ate breakfast there every day, and ate lunch and/or dinner elsewhere on the island. I highly encourage you get a rental car and explore. There are numerous restaurants on both the Dutch and French side worth exploring. One thing I will say, is the kids that were there, really enjoyed the beach area and calm, clear waters.
Can you walk from the resort to Phillipsburg?
You can but it's a good distance away...car rental or taxi is recommended.
