I am so intrigued about that site.
it seriously looks a exactly like a postmodern hotel lobby to me. And the relief sculpted imagery looks just like it was taken from a Szechuan restaurant.

Imagine if it was actually just a fancy underground Szechuan restaurant from a prolific time that's been erased by the great flood?

I plan on going here next year as part of my trip to China. Can you tell me how much walking is involved and how many steps/Elevation change? I am semi disabled and my ability to walk is limited

This is a fairly easy site to navigate. Your biggest issues is going to be descending and ascending the stairs down in to the caves. Otherwise the entire area up top is paved and laid out well. Hope you have an incredible trip!

China is truly the most incredible and full of jaw dropping ancient sites. I believe there are more yet to be discovered. Modern Chinese high tech infrastructures are also very impressive. Consider the size and population, the country runs with efficiency. No country in the world can compare. Hats off to the governance and her amazing citizens. Now I fully understand what the pride and patriotic Chinese mean.
