Thanks! After watching your video, I ordered the M-Series for my new Ram 1500. The A series looks better, but I chose the M series because the canister is smaller.
Can you install this 6’7” cover into a 6’ box if you cut 7” off the rail that attaches into the box ? Appears would need to create a new curve so top will feed into box as designed Will it work ? Same interior width just shorter bed
Hey Realtruck! Wondering if this is still monitored. How tight should I be going with the tangs for the brackets that hold the canister? I swear it felt like I was stripping out the tangs but I think I’m just deforming the metal for the stake pocket holes a bit. Should I be taking it all the way to snug where it won’t rotate anymore with reasonable force?
Great video! I ended up having dealer install mine. Is this supposed to prevent the tailgate from falling open on its own? Also should it be causing scratches to the tailgate plastic that touches the rail seal system.
Being an installer for many years I would say yes it will cause wear to the top of the tailgate plastic. And the tailgate may eventually be able to drop automatically after a while. Aftermarket accessories are rarely perfect and work with every option on vehicles.
I didn't want to drill holes in my truck bed. I was able to take a screwdriver and push the bottom of the provided drain tubes into the two large holes that were already in the bottom of my truck bed.
My cover the rail is tilted in one side … and rail no straight i remeber it was kind of hard to put the L brackets any suggestion to set the rail Straight ?

Hey there, when the cover unlatches itself while driving, then you might need to add shims between the bed cap and your clamps. These came with the cover and your printed instructions show how to install them. Because of tolerance differences in the beds, some trucks need them and others don't. Hope that helps!
Hello RealTruck! I do have a quick question. Do you recommend the Roll N Lock covers over the Pace Edwards JackRabbit hard covers? I have been bouncing back and forth on which one I would like to get for my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck. Do you recommend between these 2 covers which one has less issues with them?
Hi Michael, did you ever make a decision? If you did what direction did you go and are you happy with your decision? I'm looking at the PE Full metal Jacket and the Roll & Lock as well. Thank you
I used Pace Edwards JackRabbit retractable cover on all my trucks over the last 10 years or so, and it always held up well. Never had a problem with it. I like Pace Edwards better because of its low profile and it can be installed with THULE TracRac Sliding Ladder Racks. That gives me an option to carry up to 1250lbs on the racks ad still have retractable tonneau cover.

Excellent video, was able to install in minimal time.
Much better than trying to use the printed directions.

Thank you!!!! Followed your video and I was able to put my truck bed cover together. It took me 3-4 hours.
Is it absolutely necessary to cut the bed liner, or can I just hole saw where the opening to insert the metal clip?

Me too! Since GM now installs these at the dealership, the holes are probably no coincidence.
How long does it take for the complete install?
Can I repalce the side rails like for the more useful xt style ?
Unfortunately, we do not recommend doing that at this time.

I just installed my cover but I am unable to close the cover. One of the last steps . It just won’t move!
Thank very much we followed all your instructions and works perfect

They can tell me what is the key for this cover
Thanks for the excellent video!
Great detailed instructions!
Got one that fits in with a tool box on a 2002 GMC Sierra Regular cab
