architects are better in planning and engineers are better in structure knowledge. If you know about big projects they are designed by architect not by engeneer. Engineer made their structure plans.

I only used an online app and watched some youtube videos to design my home plan, took me around a month to create floor plan. Showed it to my contractor engineer and he made structural design which worked for my plan. This way I saved some cost. For elevation design, searched few pictures online and shared with my contractor.

Of course you can do.. just make sure.. you have enough space for your building pipe layout, light and wind entry exit and how you will paint or repair

If you construct 1st or 2nd floor then structural drawing is not required. But you need to provide old structural drawing. If old building is load bearing.. provide foundation drawing.. so that architect or engineer can tell 3 storied possible or not.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ARCHITECT AND CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER:
1. ARCHITECT ONLY DESIGN THE ORNAMENTAL DESIGN BUT CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER DESIGN THE BONE OF THE STRUCTURE ( STRUCTURAL DESIGN).
2. SOME CIVIL ENGINEER LOVE THE DESIGN OF DRAWING (LIKE PLANNING AND STRUCTURAL DESIGN). BUT SOME NOT LIKE THE DESIGN PART.
ARCHITECT NOT DESIGN THE STRUCTURAL PART OF A BUILDING.
3. IF A PERSON (ARCHITECT OR CIVIL ENGINEER) WHO IS INVOLVED IN BUILDING PERMISSION PART GOVT. AUTORITIES. HE IS WELL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT VERIOUS TYPES OF BUILDING DESIGN. LIKE- BASEMENTS DESIGN BUILDING, PODIUM DESIGN BUILDING, HOTELS, GUEST HOUSE, SCHOOL BUILDING, HOSPITAL ETC.

Architects are not trained with structural design work. These are done by Structural Engineers which is a part of Civil Engineering.

You must be a noob here. Good architetcs are well-equipped with structural knowledge apart from planning. However, the opposite is not true. Civil engineers are not trained with theoretical aspects with planning principles. Ideally, you should get the planning done by a qualified architect and get it approved by a qualified civil engineer. And you are dead wrong if you think architects don't have site knowledge. They are masters of site knowledge. Check out any and all big projects or bigger house planning, all of them will follow an architect followed by CEs and then a discussion between boh of them. You only make a home once so make a good decision rather than regretting later

The rates you have mentioned is not going to work in real life situation . 1 house construction takes minimum 3 to 6 months paid amount for that to architect is just 35000 rs devide into 3 it's 11.5 k below the level of any salary. How to pay staff & office rent site visit transport allowance? Plz think twice before disclosing random rates
