i can totally understand the idea of doing these comparisons in the context of a hobby that is so generally expensive, but it gets abstracted to some idea of "worth" and "value" that becomes extremely muddy. the primary motivator for buying a bali imo is always price, then preference, and if those two things are equal in your mind then start weighing the nitty gritty detailed comparisons.

Ok then context I am looking for a balisong that compared to my BBbarfly barracuda it's not so heavy and chunky just a almost neutral flipper than can carry flow with my tricks and isn't too loud and it's has to be a trainer also i could care less if it has longer handles just not super short handles

What you don't seem to understand, is that people who are new at this don't have any context. I bought a $35 Amazon bali to try and when I decided I liked flipping enough that I wanted to get a quality balisong I started watching comparison videos and you're right they're all crap. I don't just want to watch you flip two balis and say, "I love them both", which is what a lot of comparison videos amount to... No! I want you to describe the experience. Think back to when you were a noob and the questions that you had. I know you can't really know what the different balisongs feel like until you try them for yourself, but if someone is watching you, then they likely like your style of flipping, so you can help people to understand why you like certain balisongs over others by explaining how it feels to do certain tricks with blade bias vs handle bias... Or how easy you think it would be for a noob to learn new tricks on one vs another. You and others posting balisong videos are the ones with experience and context, so don't get mad at us for not giving you context in our comments.. Get mad at yourself for not bringing context into your reviews... I hope this was enough context for you to get my point.
If you're a beginner then I have a recommendation for you, the Vulp. The people who ask these questions are 9 times out of 10 someone who absolutely does understand what I'm talking about, and even if you don't, it's not that difficult to provide context that you are a beginner and then I know how to approach recommending you something.
The whole point of this video is to provide context if you want a recommendation, because it's impossible to just give you something from nothing.
@@BladeBias ha... That's cool I've heard of the vulp. Although since I couldn't get a good sense of how the different biases etc flip from UA-camrs, I just bought a bunch of different ones. Not everyone can afford to do that though. Between squid industries, bbbarfly, and the Prisma I like squid industries the best, specifically the kraken. The squiddy is light so good to learn tricks on, but not great for overall flipping because it is light, so doesn't carry the momentum that helps you go from trick to trick. The mako flips well, but that little fin hurts when you're new because I don't flip fast so I hit my hand s lot. The kraken has a smooth feel and flips really well like the mako, but no fun so it doesn't hurt so much when you whack your hand. This is the kind of thing I'm talking about describe what it feels like to you and explain why you like one over another. Bring objectivity into your comparisons. Sorry for the rant but as a new person into balisong, I must have watched a hundred "comparison" videos and they were all just some dude walking aimlessly around his dirty bedroom in his socks or hairy toes sticking out while he would flip one bali for a while then toss it on his bed grab another one, do the whole process again and then say I like 'em both... It's not just you that does that... All of you seem to do the same thing. I like watching flipping videos. I just wish they were better quality... I don't mean video quality... I mean something more professional than aimlessly walking around in your socks. And I just wish they had more depth and were more informative. Maybe if I ever get good at flipping, I will do it. I really think if one of you guys would up your game, you're channel would explode. If people are asking the questions then there is a need. Serve that need and you will get paid... Just say'n.

I agree and kinda disagree, about recomendations, balisongflipping said something like: demon trainer is really bla bla bla quality and something like its really good and feels "premium" and im almost sure he said that its best ti bali for around 200/300, it was the worst fucking thing i tried maybe ever, lmao, so people must understand there is something like preferences, also i think u really Can say one is better than other if u know persons preferences and u can say u like one bali better than the other even if they ar completely diffrent
