I did not watch the whole video yet but wanted to share: I have thought about this a lot lately. When Islam started they did not abolish slavery at once. Instead they gradually made sure the muslims would start to love their "servants" the way you love any free human being. First islam said "You have to feed your servants/slaves the same thing you yourself feed on" " You have to dress/clothe your servants/slaves the way you dress yourself". This slowly and gradually caused a shift in the peoples minds unconciously. If my slave eats what I eat, dress as I dress, needs to be treated as I treat any other human being, what difference is between me and my slave? No difference! Soon islam started to NUDGE the muslims. "Those that set their slave free gains this and this much ecr". Allah loves this person this and this much if he sets his slave free etc. Soon muslims started to compete on how much slaves they would set free etc until slaves was not a thing in islam anymore! Not to forget our prophets treatment of Bilal (r.a) showing everyone racism is not ok and we are all equal in everything. Now as a youngster I was bothered by why islam did not abolish slavery at once BUT then I started to see movies and read historical books about african-american slaves and slavery. Do you know when Usa in 1860thies started to abolish slavery? Did it work well for the slaves? On the contrary, NO! They were treated as sub-humans, seen as animals still. White people would not give them work, not help them (only selected few would help them) and they would murder this now "free" slaves when they saw fit for minor inconviniences, lynch them, hang their dead bodies from trees etc. This went on for centuries! 1950 in modern times and black people was not even allowed sitting in the same seats as white people in a bus, like what the?! Why did it go this wrong and bad? Yes white people were not muslims so there is that but also look how beautifully islam shifted the peoples minds from seeing the slaves as sub-humans to seeing them as equals? So abolishing slavery was very smooth, fast and easy for muslims! This is not what americans had done when they abolished slavery in the 1860thies. They set the black people "free" in a huge country amongst people that saw them like less than animals. Its been centuries of misary for the african americans and its still ongoing...

So the term "racism" is incorrect because what it implies is that the other person who has a different ethnicity is not even human (or perhaps that's what was actually meant by those who committed this evil act, because the millions of people who died because of it were not seen as human; even though this was not explicitly stated, the actions of those committing racism clearly showed what they thought). I feel like this was done on purpose by some colonizers in history for their own agenda, in order to bring about segregation and division because they did not want to admit that they belonged to the same category as the people they were colonizing (we are all of the same race, but different ethnicities). Also, nowadays people use the word "colonizer" without knowing that it has a really negative connotation. "Colonizer" comes from the root of the word "colon," which is the part of the body that absorbs all of the good nutrients and throws away the rest. And this is exactly what most colonizers did in history: absorb and take from the people they colonized, giving them very little or nothing in return. Imagine if people enslaved or colonized throughout history were rightfully paid for all of their work. Colonizing is mostly about exploitation. Furthermore, as a Christian person who really loves this channel and whose eyes were opened to what Islam is about thanks to this channel, I believe that what is called racism came from the fallen angel himself, the source of all evil, the serpent. I have thought about this a lot lately. When Islam started they did not abolish slavery at once. Instead they gradually made sure the muslims would start to love their "servants" the way you love any free human being. First islam said "You have to feed your servants/slaves the same thing you yourself feed on" " You have to dress/clothe your servants/slaves the way you dress yourself".
This slowly and gradually caused a shift in the peoples minds unconciously. If my slave eats what I eat, dress as I dress, needs to be treated as I treat any other human being, what difference is between me and my slave? No difference!
Soon islam started to NUDGE the muslims. "Those that set their slave free gains this and this much ecr". Allah loves this person this and this much if he sets his slave free etc. Soon muslims started to compete on how much slaves they would set free etc until slaves was not a thing in islam anymore! Not to forget our prophets treatment of Bilal (r.a) showing everyone racism is not ok and we are all equal in everything.
Now as a youngster I was bothered by why islam did not abolish slavery at once BUT then I started to see movies and read historical books about african-american slaves and slavery. Do you know when Usa in 1860thies started to abolish slavery? Did it work well for the slaves? On the contrary, NO!
They were treated as sub-humans, seen as animals still. White people would not give them work, not help them (only selected few would help them) and they would murder this now "free" slaves when they saw fit for minor inconviniences, lynch them, hang their dead bodies from trees etc. This went on for centuries! 1950 in modern times and black people was not even allowed sitting in the same seats as white people in a bus, like what the?!
Why did it go this wrong and bad? Yes white people were not muslims so there is that but also look how beautifully islam shifted the peoples minds from seeing the slaves as sub-humans to seeing them as equals? So abolishing slavery was very smooth, fast and easy for muslims!
This is not what americans had done when they abolished slavery in the 1860thies. They set the black people "free" in a huge country amongst people that saw them like less than animals. Its been centuries of misary for the african americans and its still ongoing...

Unfortunately, many many Turks blame Syrian refugees for their country's economic crisis when in fact these refugees are contributing to the economy and the industry, and the poorer elements among them (who receive financial aid from the EU, not the Turkish government) buy all their needs from Türkiye and spend all their money in the country.

Yes but actually scientists have done tests that shows even black babies few months old prefer to look at white dolls and white people. Probably human brain is such it prefers looking at "lighter" faces etc. So yes we probably have to work conciously and hard to not discriminate by skin colour as our brain seems to be baised from the get go

So we don't understand what racism is, nor have we ever experienced it .After that I married an Afro American Muslim. And how difficult it was to get rid of his hatred of race white skin. He even tried to look for verses in the Koran and hadith that confirmed his opinion.Even after becoming a Muslim, there is still the term black Muslim, white Muslim, which divides feelings of brotherhood.I decided not to take my children to the USA, my children must think clearly, according to the teachings of the Koran and Sunnah. There is no bias that clouds their view of humanity just because of different skin colors.

This is a great video!❤ The term "different races" is used incorrectly nowadays. There is actually only one human race, but different ethnicities. So the term "racism" is incorrect because what it implies is that the other person who has a different ethnicity is not even human (or perhaps that's what was actually meant by those who committed this evil act, because the millions of people who died because of it were not seen as human; even though this was not explicitly stated, the actions of those committing racism clearly showed what they thought). I feel like this was done on purpose by some colonizers in history for their own agenda, in order to bring about segregation and division because they did not want to admit that they belonged to the same category as the people they were colonizing (we are all of the same race, but different ethnicities). Also, nowadays people use the word "colonizer" without knowing that it has a really negative connotation. "Colonizer" comes from the root of the word "colon," which is the part of the body that absorbs all of the good nutrients and throws away the rest. And this is exactly what most colonizers did in history: absorb and take from the people they colonized, giving them very little or nothing in return. Imagine if people enslaved or colonized throughout history were rightfully paid for all of their work. Colonizing is mostly about exploitation. Furthermore, as a Christian person who really loves this channel and whose eyes were opened to what Islam is about thanks to this channel, I believe that what is called racism came from the fallen angel himself, the source of all evil, the serpent. Not from Allah.
