Watching this as I eat some crappy instant ramen for lunch... and it's making me sad... 😂 I had no plans to visit NYC, but maybe I should. Loving collection 2, Victor! ❤

If I’m being quite honest after living in Oakland, SF, and NYC I would have to definitely give the best Cantonese food to the Bay. However, NYC has some great high end Chinese restaurants.

I think there's a huge focus on Cantonese food specifically here in the Bay, whereas in NYC it's refreshing to me because I'm able to find more other regional Chinese foods over there that I can't find as easily over here

I've started traveling internationally and one of my side quests is to hit up the chinatowns if the cities have them. I've gone to Montreal and London so far! I was born in NYC and live in NJ so I go in whenever. I actually still have family there and they were in the restaurant biz. So much good Chinese food and it's even mixing in Korea Town!

Outside of the Bay, I’ve been able to check out Chinatowns in LA, Vancouver, Mexico City, NYC + Flushing, Chicago, Vegas, and Yokohama so far. Really cool that there’s these hubs all around the world to find our culture

@@HiDidYouEatYet LMAO you know what's cool too? If you go to a different country that doesn't speak English but hit up a Chinatown, you can always speak Chinese! I didn't get the chance to visit the one in Milan, but there are so many Chinese people living there! I don't speak Italian but if I thought someone was Chinese, i'd ask in Mandarin and they were always so happy and surprised! One less barrier to deal with! I did this in Montreal too since my French is basically non existent 😁

@@yaowsers77 That reminds me, we checked out a Chinese area in Florence too! Don't know if it was really a Chinatown but after a week in Italy, we really needed some Chinese food lol

@@HiDidYouEatYet LMAO spoken like s true Chinese person! my parents went with a Chinese tour group around Italy and a little bit of France. Wouldn't you know a bunch of them brought their own instant noodles and such?! 🤣
