Unpack, flatten box, put it on the floor under the table, then once a week, taken out to the can. No, we don’t have kids. But we LOVE THIS SHIT.

52, No kids, but grew up in the Jordan era (Michael not Barbara) and have a drawer full of no show socks. High socks will always be nerdy to me (unless I’m playing soccer.)
What gets me is that those ankle socks aren't cheap, you're getting less than half a sock people! My big sock complaint is that I have massive calves and like to wear my socks high, like I'm a 70 year old man (I don't have sock garters... yet), so some socks start to dig in a bit and it sucks. Still better than having tiny chicken calves!
Stanley #6 utility knife > Box Cutter. You can't pull out more than an inch or two of blade and you can get down to minuscule amounts of very sharp metal. The blade wont snap and there's a recess inside for extra blades that can be accessed by using a key to unscrew the bolt holding both sides together.

It's cool that the new kids are into what I've been rocking for 30 years, but as a true GenXer, I don't give a @$#%. Also, earlier today I told my 12 year old to break down the cardboard box (with scissors...I got kids, we can't be messing with a box cutter) before she put it in the recycling.

Where I grew up, the white v neck was an alt GenX staple for the cool kids, who appropriated it from their ex rocknroll dads and James Dean look. Didn't realize it had looped back around to being a Dad vibe thing. But makes sense since we're all dads/moms and grands. lol Ah, the cycle of fashion life... (Won't be ditching my basic Hanes T tho)

Im 27 and will absolutely die on the hill of tall socks being fuggin stupid as all hell. Just comes from tik tok influencers who had no sense of style or fashion trying to force a look that didnt work but because its a sheepish culture on there people copied and followed. Like the haircuts and clothing styles are literally what people my age wore growing up and we grew out of it realizing it looks ridiculous, hopefully they get there too.
