Full tang, stainless steel, and less than $24 USD, We have a winner! I am not sure this knife will beat a stainless steel Mora over the long term but it would make a great gift for a beginning bushcrafter. It was good that you batoned wood and struck some sparks with the ferrocerium rod. Did you have to sharpen the spine or was it at 90 degrees out of the box?
Thank you for watching! The good thing about this knife is that it's reasonably priced, but it's also definitely for beginners. I think that it is a little unsatisfactory performance for advanced users. In this video, all knives have the spines as they were when I bought them. That Mora knife was originally made for striking sparks. I think the other two just happened to have a little spark.
