Mashallah Dr Sab from very long ago I listened so many scholars in this regard but can't satisfied my inner self.now after listening this podcast I am clear regarding islamic economic system. Jazakallah khair Dr Sab and usama rizvi
JAZAKALLAH very beautifully explained the real Islamic system of economy that is the only way to get rid of today's economical downfall in the society.
Masha Allah. As a chartered Accountant I know the dark side of the capitalism, which is having very hazardous effects on our society, the secular people are always against Islamic economic system as they are unaware of the benefits and welfare of the people. Islamic Economic system can remove the boundaries between rich and poor due to balanced circulation of the money. We can also modify the Islamic economic system according to the modern problems while avoiding the things which are against the major principles of Islamic teachings.
Excellent nd understood way of teaching....Just waooo...We want more videos on Islam like way of life in Islam, Morality and politics in Islam with That Guest ❤❤

Sir I have question, if one lent money and when it returns original amount where as market value got higher or lower and economy sinks or float higher ,then what can be done to compensate that amount? According to Islam
What Can Be Done to Compensate for Economic Changes? Agreement on Fair Terms: Before lending, both parties can agree on terms that consider future changes in the economy, such as inflation. This might include adjusting the repayment amount to reflect the real value of the money at the time of repayment. Mutual Consent for Adjustments: If significant market changes occur, the lender and borrower can mutually agree to adjust the repayment terms. This may include paying the equivalent value in terms of goods or services, rather than a fixed monetary amount. Gift or Charity in Case of Loss: If the lender feels that their purchasing power has been reduced due to inflation but does not want to burden the borrower, they may choose to forgive part or all of the loan or consider it a charitable act, especially if it’s an interest-free loan.
Amazing, i wish there could have been more extensive discusion.we have built our staminas of podcast😂 so its a humble suggestion to cover lenghty discussion as well from such prestegious personalities

Being Student of Economics.. all seems good.. But one question I've been pondering since along time, is Islamic Fiscal Policy .. Yes some of aspects are clearer, but what Islam says as per Currency Warfare is concerned.. So yes it's a question... What's Islam's stake on Dollar Hegemony & Sino Centric Global Fiscal System
Islam does not explicitly address Dollar Hegemony or a Sino-Centric Global Fiscal System, as these are modern geopolitical and economic phenomena. However, Islamic principles on economic systems and global justice provide a framework to evaluate such issues. Here's how these systems can be viewed through the lens of Islamic economics: 1. Dollar Hegemony (US Dominance in Global Trade and Finance) Issue of Interest (Riba): The dollar hegemony relies heavily on the global financial system, which is interest-based. Islam strictly prohibits Riba, viewing it as exploitative and unjust, making dollar hegemony inherently problematic from an Islamic perspective. Inequality: Dollar dominance enables the U.S. to exert disproportionate control over global financial markets, often disadvantaging weaker economies. Islam promotes economic justice and fairness, opposing systems that lead to exploitation or widening wealth gaps. Dependence vs. Sovereignty: Islam encourages economic self-reliance and opposes dependence on systems that may undermine the sovereignty of Muslim nations. 2. Sino-Centric Global Fiscal System (China's Growing Influence) Merit of Multipolarity: A shift toward a Sino-centric system could weaken dollar hegemony, introducing a multipolar economic order. While this aligns with Islam's advocacy for balance and justice, the new system must itself uphold ethical principles. Concerns Over Debt-Trap Diplomacy: China's model, including initiatives like the Belt and Road, often involves loans that could burden weaker economies. If these loans involve exploitative practices, they conflict with Islamic values. Trade and Cooperation: Islam supports fair trade and mutual benefit. Any global fiscal system that enhances equitable economic cooperation without exploitation would align with Islamic principles. Islamic Economic Alternatives Islam offers a distinct economic model that can challenge the flaws in both dollar hegemony and potential Sino-centric dominance: Gold and Silver Standard: Islam historically advocates for tangible, intrinsic-value currencies like gold and silver (Dinar and Dirham) to prevent the manipulation of fiat money. Interest-Free Economy: An Islamic financial system eliminates interest, promoting fairness in lending and borrowing. Wealth Redistribution: Through mechanisms like Zakat and the prohibition of hoarding, Islam ensures wealth flows equitably across society. Global Justice: Islamic economics emphasizes fairness and mutual benefit, promoting an economic system that respects the sovereignty of all nations. Islam’s Position Islam would critique both the dollar-dominated system and any alternative fiscal system that perpetuates exploitation, inequality, or injustice. A global system that aligns with Islamic values would need to prioritize: Fair trade. Interest-free financial mechanisms. Equitable resource distribution. Respect for sovereignty and justice. Muslim nations are encouraged to work towards self-reliance and ethical economic practices that reflect Islamic principles, offering a viable alternative to both hegemonic and exploitative systems.
16:45 well I would like to disagree with you Sir at this point. At this point depositors act as “Rab-ul-Maal” (investors) and Bank acts as Mudarib (investee). Mudarib is well aware of its profit ratio and hence he can give approx profit ratio even before conducting business.
Brother mudarib estimates the profit but he is not 100 sure to get a calculated amount , he can also gets a lost thats why it is halal as risk is involved.

The podcast is somewhat informative; it is nice to watch a discussion over such a topic. however, the guest failed to address the principles of the Islamic economic system and was unable to differentiate between various economic systems. Additionally, he misled the audience on several points such as Islamic banking etc.
So basically Islam lays down ethical and moral principals for economics and business but there was no explanation of any system of economics in this talk. I presume people must then create a system? As long as one abides by halal and haram one may choose any economic system.

Yes some of aspects are clearer, but what Islam says as per Currency Warfare is concerned..
So yes it's a question... What's Islam's stake on Dollar Hegemony & Sino Centric Global Fiscal System
I think main point is economic activity with lawful manner,

However, Islamic principles on economic systems and global justice provide a framework to evaluate such issues. Here's how these systems can be viewed through the lens of Islamic economics:

Dependence vs. Sovereignty: Islam encourages economic self-reliance and opposes dependence on systems that may undermine the sovereignty of Muslim nations.
2. Sino-Centric Global Fiscal System (China's Growing Influence)
Merit of Multipolarity: A shift toward a Sino-centric system could weaken dollar hegemony, introducing a multipolar economic order.
Islamic Economic Alternatives
Islam offers a distinct economic model that can challenge the flaws in both dollar hegemony and potential Sino-centric dominance:
Gold and Silver Standard: Islam historically advocates for tangible, intrinsic-value currencies like gold and silver (Dinar and Dirham) to prevent the manipulation of fiat money.
Islam’s Position
Islam would critique both the dollar-dominated system and any alternative fiscal system that perpetuates exploitation, inequality, or injustice. A global system that aligns with Islamic values would need to prioritize:
Fair trade.

Very knowledgeable n thought provoking conversation.. it much contributed to my little knowledge.. I slam to the guest person... Thanks
My question is in islamic economic system if zakat and charity are main principles , than how 2.5 ratio of.zakat can bring the classes gap to an end?
Why 2.5% Zakat Matters in Islam's Economic System
Zakat is Part of a Bigger System
The 2.5% Zakat is not designed to eliminate class gaps on its own. It’s one component of a larger Islamic economic framework that promotes fairness, justice, and equitable wealth distribution.
It works alongside other mechanisms like voluntary charity (Sadaqah), prohibition of exploitative practices (e.g., interest), and state-managed welfare programs.
How Zakat Reduces Class Gaps
Wealth Redistribution: Zakat is collected only from the wealthy (above a certain threshold, called Nisab) and distributed exclusively to the poor, needy, and vulnerable groups. This ensures resources flow directly to those in need.
Preventing Wealth Hoarding: By requiring annual contributions, Zakat keeps wealth in circulation and prevents hoarding, a major cause of inequality in many systems.
Zakat’s Multiplier Effect
While 2.5% might seem small, when applied consistently across an entire community or economy, it has a cumulative impact. It provides essential support for education, healthcare, and business opportunities, enabling the poor to become self-sufficient over time.
Zakat for Economic Growth
Government-Led Businesses: The government can invest Zakat funds in starting businesses or funding public projects, generating profits that further fuel welfare initiatives.
Job Creation: These businesses and projects can help reduce unemployment by providing job opportunities, empowering individuals, and contributing to overall economic development.
Support from Other Principles
Charity Beyond Zakat: Islam also encourages voluntary giving and mutual support, which increases the overall impact.
State Responsibility: An Islamic government is responsible for managing Zakat funds effectively and using them to fund public welfare projects, ensuring equal opportunities for growth.
Focus on Empowerment, Not Dependency
Zakat is not just about handing out money. It’s used to empower the poor through skills training, entrepreneurship, and access to resources, helping them rise out of poverty sustainably.
Comparison to Modern Systems
Unlike many modern systems, where taxes can be burdensome and often fail to address inequality, Zakat is a simple, ethical, and fair approach that ensures wealth benefits society as a whole. Additionally, the ability to invest Zakat funds into government-led businesses introduces a sustainable economic model that benefits both the state and its citizens, fostering growth and reducing dependency.
But for the implementation of Islamic economic system in a country like Pakistan, the loans have to be cleared off otherwise, Islamic economics can't work effectively.
Nothing but thank you sir
Mashallah
I m impressed by you sir❤❤❤❤❤❤
