The best ambient music......whenever I hear it, I am transported to the bridge, I see my men at their stations as we patrol the Atlantic for Allied merchant shipping........ah memories.... :-)
This is great to listen to while working, Ill never forget SH3 such an awesome game, 11 years old and still the best All round WW2 Submarine Sim in 2016, Shame Ubi ran the Franchise in to the ground with half arsed sequels instead of updates / expansion. If they had just built up on to what they had to begin with....
I still play it, completed another campaign 4 days ago Though I don't fully agree with the half arsed sequels statement. I thoroughly enjoyed SH4, though I didn't find it as replayable as SH3.
One of the first games I have ever played when I was younger. What do you know, I ended up at a maritime academy. Hearing this I am transported back to my submarine, going into free camera and heading to an enemy warship, seeing it plow through the waves with the gentle noise of the engines. Beautiful.
Mapstarring and finding not a single ship sim. Sometimes there were just these missions. But next the very next trip you would run out off ammo and have to go back because you just sank half of the US and British Maritime forces. Man this game. Sometimes nothing for days/weeks and I would listen to this OST for like 3 hours straight because nothings happening. Doing my objective and going home. But then sometimes you wish your patrols wouldnt be so stressful :D
Silent Hunter 3 is, in my humble opinion, the best game in the entire Silent Hunter series.
Not just the series, the best u-boat sim around
Especially with this soundtrack
I totally agree.

You can always buy it on steam for 10 bucks, and get a mod pack for it, like GWX

I can only agree with the other posters here, Silent Hunter 3 is truly an amazing game made even better with its immersive sound track.

for me also this music is epic, of course I train like a captain of SH 5 submarine (not playing, training)
музыка топ. ностальгия, но в игру лучше не заходить. лучше не ворошить прошлое, на крайний случай есть sh4
