The third season finds Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long lost daughter who’s been entrusted in his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead.

It was STARZ's fault this got cancelled in the first place, with one of the worst marketing i've ever seen! This could've gone big as the walking dead or game of thrones in viewership, cause it is a more critically acclaimed show than those two!
Too bad, it was my favorite TV show and this was my favorite season yet!

I looked into getting a Starz subscription before season 1 but we don’t get the Starz network in the UK... I did buy season 1 on DVD and season 2 on Blu Ray when we got them over here... if there’s any way I can like... support the show... coz I love this to gory, bloody pieces, and I want it to keep going

Season 1 had very low ratings, season 2 was even worse, so what do they do? Double down on dumb in S3. Not a good plan. ED 1 was so successful because it was new, it was different, it was innovative. AvED is not new or different, They played it safe. You cant do that when theres 1000s of other cable shows doing the same thing. If you think you're going to be canceled anyway, why not experiment? Do something radically different, go in a different tonal direction. I suggested to make it more serious, more dramatic, more like a hybrid between ED and The Walking Dead. That would of worked. Now its over and the franchise is dead. Ash has finally been defeated and he has no one to blame but himself.

Uhm, weren't the ratings fucking insane for season 1? Hence all the awards it won. Not to mention, every time Starz held a poll for "Most Watched Show" or "Most Anticipated" on Twitter or other social media, AvED won by a landslide. Also as Michael Voorhees said, a completely serious supernatural show is not original in the slightest, if you did that, it'd just end up as Supernatural with more gore, or god forbid more fucking Walking Dead, there's far less horror-comedy TV shows out there, of course they're gonna stick with the horror comedy, why do you think Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness are more remembered these days than the first? The pop culture icon that Ash and the franchise became due to the comedy and one-liners.
