- The man behind the artwork for our releases of THE CREMATOR, MAN PUSH CART, and CHOP SHOP talks with us about how his Ecuadorian roots and his love of performance inform his enigmatic images.
That may be best thing I've seen today, thanks.
I was drawn to The Cremator largely due to it’s beautiful cover, it’s now one of my favorites. Appreciate whosever idea it was to take the time to make a mini-doc about the artist behind this particular cover art. Cool.
I love this and this whole artist series is so great.
I graduated with honors from the graphic design program he mentions at the community college in Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s was an amazing program that opened up so many opportunities to its students. I’m so happy to see the success achieved by a fellow alumnus. Bravo! 👏
I'm a collage artist and I would love to make film posters for criterion one day :)
So good! I am inspired, the soar of spirit
Thank you)This shorts are the best things about You Tube. But i wish this conversations were at least a little bit longer) Anyway, you are great, thank you)
It's amazing seeing more people from Latin America!
Very interesting!
I always thought it would be so cool to officially design these covers. I love thinking what you'd add and how to compose something into a striking image
interesting video
Somehow missed this film coming out, will have to pick it up now.
wans't keen on the artwork for the release initially, but has grown on me. Anyone who has not seen Cremator should watch it, such a marvellous, darkly humorous film!
Brilliant
The Cremator's cover is the reason I even picked the film up! It's beautiful and when I'm doing a blind pick I tend to just look for a cover that sticks out to me. It's a shame that with Man Push Cart and Chop Shop that I don't feel Juan's style shines through -- especially when some of the mock-ups shown are incredible. (Two great films as well)
