    'tis nice to day dream about ja да. Im curious if the lights change or you can just get different colored lights for the outside? I've been wondering how it looked in video, most of the videos I see are always in the day time (obviously to see the boat I know but the sunset tour was a nice touch)

    Not allowed to open the door...? At least 50000 dollars plus in mooring and general upkeep and maintenance per year...?

    I'm curious, do you always have to hire a crew to sail catamaran of this size?

    Personally if im on a yacht I rather the traditional design than this thing that feels like box. The interior is beautiful and contemporary though. But Ya if Im on a boat i gotta feel like im on a boat.

    These boats are lovely things, but sadly it does not look like a true world cruiser, Imagine trying to use that Galley in a bit of Mid Atlantic swell, You would be on sandwiches and crisps for five days LOL

      Retro Disco im looking for a boat. Can you explain what you mean by that?

    • @rallycorsa1600
      @rallycorsa1600 4 роки тому +3

      @@michynature I mean its a beautiful boat, but in rough weather or a big swell it would be difficult to use the Galley without making a real mess. Perfect in Calm sea or anchored in a nice bay, but maybe less practical for true cruising

    Just a big fat juicy floating Caribbean condo. I love Sunreef's luxury, but they're not fun to sail upwind - so slow.

      D Max Perfirmance cats are LESS fun for serious cruising. The performance comes at a serious negative impact on comfort. The boat will wear you out, long before you get to your destination. Performance is only important when you’re at a regatta and going home at night, not for long distance.

    • @dmax5722
      @dmax5722 4 роки тому +2

      @@RogerWilco1 I disagree. Fixed keeled fly-bridged cats are great for floating, if floating is your thing. I like to sail. Narrow hulls, daggers or centerboards, low to moderate boom height and an aggressive sail plan is my cup of tea. Large staterooms? Who needs em? I swing from a hammock in the salon (I like to watch). There are compromises in everything (McConaghy MC60), comfort is not so important to me. I got the need - the need for speed. Ya see that squall on the horizon? Strap the Budgie to your thigh mate, it's TIME TO SAIL! The Vendee is this year. Woohoo! Roger Wilco & out ...

    It's a beautiful boat, however, I could not bring myself to owning such an asset built this way.
    I know the industry has been following the mass production minimalist design fad and that's all good and economic to the manufacturer, but it seems, like everything else, it's all about the initial sale with no regard to the actual owner comfort.
    I must admit I am all about wood textures and I realize carbon and plastic panels are easier, but even then there is one blaring failure the industry as a whole is committing.
    While European, and especially Asian artisans have , in the past, produced wonderful creations in rich high gloss wood ascents, (I have never seen a U.S. boat built with as much effort), there is one thing that for a number of years they did religiously that has been all but forgotten.
    After having owned my own yacht for a number of years, and having served in the Navy for over a decade there is one thing I appreciate more than anything else about a boat of any size.
    That is all edges being rounded. Square edges are dangerous, people inevitably lose there balance on moving platforms and a square edge at the wrong time could mean the difference between a bruise, a broken bone, or heaven forbid death.
    If I am going to spend this kind of money on a yacht of this size it better show that someone really cared more about what they were creating and the customer than the quick cash at the sale.
    I want to know my boat was created by real caring artisans and not just a bunch of guys with a resin spray gun hired off the street trying to turn a fast buck.
    What do you think?
    P.S. This is about the industry a large. Of all the yachts I have reviewed/chartered Sunreef and Aquila are my top two favorites for Cats.

    imo 1 super big luxury shower bay and adult sized head (smaller head right next to it) is all that’s needed for a boat, it would make them safer, lighter, more space to live for every1, when you’re at sea, you need to be a team, it’s a matter of survival, my proposal exemplifies this philosophy. i’m the boss, but still, WE ARE 1. i know not everyone agrees, that’s ok, my $8m boat would be made this way bc i don’t care about sharing my luxury shower with the crew members, with this extra space they would have a bigger bunk area with a desk and a nice place to sit and enjoy meals in the below deck galley.
