You're wrong. It is precisely our business. The royals have been lying through their teeth since thus whole episode started. In addition to emphatically stating on multiple occasions that Kate definitely didn't have cancer, they released four fake images claiming to show Kate. The 'mothers day photo' (not actually a photo that anyone sat for, but a completely manufactured image designed to mislead the public) was so egregious an attempt to intentionally deceive, that the major news agencies in the world were left with no option but to expose him as an unambiguous liar on the world stage. The future head of state was exposed as an unambiguous liar who the worlds most professional media officially no linger consider trustworthy. None of that has changed as a result of Kate's statement, which only served to raise more questions. The excuse that they were protecting their children is hardly convincing. Who in their right mind would let their children listen to rumours of infidelity, domestic abuse, bum lifts, divorce and worse, because they didn't want to talk to them about mommy's illness? It is as inconsistent as everything else we have been told since the whole thing began. There is no reason at all why Kate cannot produce medical evidence confirming the details of her illness, including time frames relating to hospital admission, diagnosis and other issues that remain murky still, as she described them. To suggest that asking the royals to provide medical evidence somehow impedes Kate's recovery, constitutes bullying, a conspiracy or an invasion of privacy is ridiculous if not insulting. It is, in fact remarkable that it has to be asked for. There are so many questions the royals have to answer and simply making a statement and asking people to leave it at that is not just unreasonable, it is insulting. We need the royals to answer questions we wish to have answered, not ones they wish to provide answers to. Kate's statement alone needs further clarification, but if anyone believes the sudden claim that William had to cancel his scheduled attendance at his godfathers memorial service with 45 minutes notice due to concerns about Kate as is now being claimed in the video above, they need their head examined. It is a lie! So many things seemed to happen that day, including the mysterious death of Thomas Kingston, which the royals seemed strangely eager to volunteer that William had nothing to do with, despite no one suggesting he did, (yet another instance of the royals providing answers to questions no one asked) including Williams short notice withdrawal from a memorial service for what he claimed to be personal reasons on which he declined to elaborate. However, he specifically stated that Kate was recovering well and indicated that the 'personal reasons' behind his withdrawal were not related to her. This all occurred in late Feb, and over a month after Kate's 'planned surgery' - as a result of which she nonetheless had to cancel all of her also 'planned' appointments, God give me strength. It is inconceivable that William had just received news of her diagnosis. She had been discharged from hospital for a month and, as we were told, was at home doing school runs, even working from home (doing what?) and recovering so well that the only thing she was still too ill to do was show herself or make a statement. Just sitting there while being filmed is apparently more taxing than people imagine. How on earth even the dead manage it is anyone's guess. The royals can't help themselves. The royals can't help themselves and seem genetically compelled towards deception as a default position. Not enough for William to make a complete fool of himself on a global scale, he insists on doubling down on his lies with this obvious bit of historical revisionism as if to intentionally remind people that he can not be trusted - OFFICIALLY! The medias role is not to protect the sensitivities, interests, so called 'privacy' of the royal family or to shield them from embarrassment, it is to seek the truth and report the facts. The RF have serious questions to answer and it is ridiculous to suggest that asking them to show the type of accountability and transparency expected of any public servant or recipient of taxpayer money (particularly the in excess of the incredible £350 + the RF takes out of the community annually - regardless of whether they 'work' or not - isn't that right, Andrew) as a matter of course, somehow causes Kate stress and hampers her recovery is beyond laughable. How does telling the truth, providing medical records and being transparent hinder Kate's recovery? What possible objection could the RF to being honest? We know they have a problem with transparency, but why? It has now gone beyond a joke. The other thing that will not affect Kate's recovery in anyway is the immediate cessation of all taxpayer support for the RF until such time as they agree to answer questions and provide objectively verifiable evidence supporting their claims. It is already inexcusable enough that a demonstrable criminal and paedophile like Andrew - who doesn't even have a job to pretend to do - continues to have his lifestyle of incredible and indolent luxury paid for by the taxpayer without the media holding the RF to account, to turn a blind eye to the contempt the RF continue to hold the public who pays them in is not just irresponsible, it is evidence of the extent to which the UK deserves the ridicule of the international community for putting up with obvious abuse of privilege and blatant corruption no self respecting nation could tolerate.
Cancer is rough, it sucks, and anybody who has dealt with this in their own family knows how heartbreaking & stressful this can be, aside from being 'in the public eye', it's no different for them as it would be for anybody else. Behind closed doors, they're the same as any other family going through a difficult time, they deserve the same privacy & they don't owe anything to anybody. Wish them well, then leave them be, they have enough on their plate without outside noise. Prayers to them all, including King Charles & Camila as they're also going through his own cancer battle.
I was diagnosed nearly 5 years ago with incurable cancer. I can come out and state i had it. But, the royals don't. Not a royalist by a long shot, but cancer is a personal thing, each to their own. Leave them alone.
No that does not apply to the Royal family. That is were you are wrong. The old Queen laid out the rules when you join the Royal family, you need to be "seen to be believed". Queen Elizabeth II towards the end of her life had bone cancer and was confined to a wheel chair. But she got up, dressed and stand wave to the crowds in service to her people. That's why this generation of Royals learned a bitter lesson at being a Royal.

I've got a family member battling it &they r in their 70s, unlike with a lot of people who ask for privacy there r some things that even though the royals r payed from the tax payers they still deserve some privacy to deal with something that traumatizing
You need to understand that not how it works. Queen Elizabeth II made it clear when you join the Royal family your life is not your own. She said "you need to be seen to be believed". That why when you are figure head of a country you sacrifice some your privacy that the price you pay.
William will need to be brave and strong for his family at this time. Small children need stability, love and truth. They are addressing in their minds, years without their mother. A terrible future, and one they need reassurance from their father and family about. Catherine will see to it that they have what they need to develop well and happy. May health triumph!

My Mom had this surgery and it's very bad on your body at first. Took my Mom 12 weeks just to recover from surgery. Thats not including time for chemotherapy. Cut her a break she deserves it and she needs positive thoughts and love

Based on the (limited) information released, it is not necessarily factually accurate to say that the Princess of Wales “has cancer”. She had an operation to remove tissue from her abdomen. That tissue was found to contain some cancer. It is possible that all of the cancer was confined to that tissue. If so, she no longer “has cancer”. It seems that there is a small risk that some cancer cells might have migrated from the primary location before it was removed. She is therefore receiving chemotherapy as a “precaution” and not to treat a known cancer. So, it is perfectly possible, indeed, likely, that she does not “have cancer” at all. It would be possible to be more accurate in our assessment if we knew just what was removed. However, the information released does tend towards the conclusion that it is most likely that she does not, now “have cancer” and we all hope and pray that this is, in fact the case.

Well the world doesn’t revolve round your “wants”. I’m,p proud Catherine is a strong enough woman and wanted to do it solo so she could show she is strong and doing well. She doesn’t need to clutch onto a man because she is a confident modern woman.she was incredible and the world is proud of her.
Who the heck are you? Catherine is a strong woman and I'm sure it was her decision to do things her way. As a survivor, I can tell you that, in the end, your cancer is yours alone. Just as William has been protecting her privacy, she probably didn't want to add to the weight on his shoulders right now. That's what people who love each other do.
There doesn't need to be and excuse. If Catherine wanted him there, he would have been. She chose this way to disclose the information and William honored it. She isn't some emotionally weak woman.
