I love Homeworthy. I wish when the owner is talking about something specific, like the powder room sink, that the camera would show it.Happens frequently. Just a suggestion. ❤
I agree with @MarjorieBurnett’s comment - many times the homeowner is talking about something specific and the camera doesn’t pick it up! Example a homeowner was talking about a a very specific rug and the camera did not get a shot of it! It does happen quite often…somewhat disappointing. In this particular tour it happened with the skirted sink in the powder bathroom. Otherwise I love, love Homeworthy. Just a constructive comment. Great tour as always and very lovely homeowner.
The exact feeling I had as well, they are there to show the home and she mentions the sink and the camera person just kept it on the wall.. I kept waiting to see her sink.. so irritating.
I love the house and the interior design, but one thing I loved the most is that the lady of the house, literally, uses items that remind her of her grandmother in different areas of the house, using her China everyday is beautiful! Why keep beautiful things for a special moment when every moment is special.. thank you homeworthy!
Just an observation there are four males who live in the home but no traces of a masculine theme space. One that would reflect their lifestyle and personality.
We didn't see all the house. The boys rooms could be decorated in their style. There could be a man cave space so to speak she did not share@@marycollins1631
I love that she thought enough of her family furnishings and glass ware and dishes to keep them and use them, so many young people do not want any of the family items they only want to have new modern things that they buy themselves. The wall paper makes you feel so much at home and very cozy. Barb
Nice! Finally, a gal that has a CLASSIC GORGEOUS hairstyle, not the 'parted in the middle, droopy, limp stringy hairstyle' most have now! THANK YOU! Pure classy hairstyle, home and dress! LOVELY!!
Perfectly said! Everyone should see videos of Trish Van Devere from 1973 I mean, pure CLASS! At least her hair is BRUSHED, not plasterd flat in these ridiculous corkscrew curls stuck in big clumps- do these women look at themselvesv in the mirror????? Kimberly @@allanrinaldipaone9850
Exquisite, really. Elegant without being fussy or pretentious, completely serviceable for a bunch of boys and a fitting homage to Mrs. Johnson’s heritage without being a shrine or a museum. I would have liked however to have seen the junk room!
Yes, thank you Sara. I loved the Baccarat chandelier. Pronounced Baccaraa. No consonant is pronounced after a vowel in French. The grandmother's leaded glass is lovely and husband's monogram a lovely touch. I love the ceiling in the kitchen. A beautiful feature always, I am sure. The lights in the kitchen are lovely. I love the Dutch doors. I am touched by the fact that her husband is a school sweetheart. I dont like your curtains as they arent a feature and look light weight and I dont see any ornamental plants inside or outdoor and I think the lack of wall art is too restrained. I like the hallway guest loo. A lovely wicker mirror frame.
Gorgeous House! If I was going to hire an interior decorator I would hire Sara. Our taste are very much alike. I love wall paper and her wall paper is beautiful. Sara has a very lovely way of sharing her home and stories of what went into putting her home together. This was really my favorite house on Homeworthy.
Sara is a beautiful gracious hostess and has a beautiful family home! Love the soft easy to love color palette, flow of rooms as well as the adorable scalloped designs in the back of the house. Well done Sara and Homeworthy!
Loved this tour! Beautiful home and loved the use of wallpaper and the associated colorways and palette. The Gracie wallpaper in the dining room is just gorgeous! Would have loved to have seen a shot of her powder room sink as she was describing it. Also - the comment about the junk drawer / room is so true!
A special mum living with all these boys/men. Very practical and accommodating for the obvious testosterone but also blends beautifully with feminine touches. Also lovely personal family heirloom items. A beautiful home. Tastefully decorated 😊 Thank you for sharing ❤
Beautiful traditional family home. Yes I agree use the good china, eat at the dining room table sometimes! Love homes with pics of the family and passed down things. Her use of things from her grandmother’s house speaks to her love of family! Dallas designers know to put a beautiful home together!
The ceiling in the kitchen is truly special..Nice to see how people get to express their creativity and ingenuity. Sara is so natural and real which is refreshing. I appreciated listening to her talk about her journey backstory of how she became an interior designer. I find I am the same.
This home is really a treasure box just waiting to be opened up! It’s exquisitely decorated with beloved heirlooms that will pass to her children someday.
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It is just so comfortable and livable. Love the little powder room under the stairs. Always like high/low design.
What an inviting home…worthy of this showcase video! And the hostess was absolutely adorable, lucky husband and sons…doggy and cat too! Bravo…Calif. calling
Very beautiful home, tudor homes are my favorite. The decor is a wonder combination of formal and informal without being fussy. The pallet of colors and textures are so serene . If I could afford to hire a decorator, this woman would be at the top of my list.
Very beautiful home, soothing colors, somewhat eclectic with the antiques and family heirlooms, elegant without being fussy. Lovely cohesion of favored colors, emotion, and sentiment, with nods to the past, a special way to keep alive those family legacies. Love it all ❤
I heard a realtor call the junk room the “staging” room. So perfect when you’re moving in our out of a house. You can make all the other areas beautiful and still have a room with things that don’t have a home yet.
love her little sense of humor about the exposed wire. You can tell she's fun. I think some of the shots are too zoomed in so we miss a few elements, but I got a better feel for her home than the last episode.
This home is absolutely stunning!! There isn’t one space that I did not completely LOVE! I wish the CAMERA person would have shown the bathroom under the stairs!! The wall was all that was shown, I wanted to see the sink, you mentioned the sink having to be smaller and the person just stood there and didn’t even try to show what you mentioned!! You are very talented and your home is GORGEOUS!! 💚
What a charming, beautiful home. Everything was picked out that was so comfortable and makes you feel like you walking into a home that you grew up in. At least for me. Thanks for sharing another beautiful video of a beautiful home with beautiful people inside and out.♥️🙏🏼🌹👍🏼
Lovely interior design. People do find it comforting to replica what our parents and grandparents had in their homes. The textured wallpaper in the den is a nice choice. My mom had a similar one in her den in the Boston suburbs. I had a similar badge on the badge pinstripe in the bathroom of my 1902 Salem, MA home. Fuuny when I was done with the project. It made me feel like I was in a Tenn historic home. I really like blue and white and Dutch doors another similarity. I would have liked to see your son's rooms or children's playroom. Hope your husband has a home office a little more masculine to his liking too.
Just love your home, you're an excellent hostess, love your colors and Design. Not too much stuff! Looks like a home and not a museum. And very elegant even for the boys. LOL very peaceful feel, lucky you. Enjoyed the tour thank you. Thank you.
Nothing fussy or even pretentious about this lovely home and the owner, although filled with antiques and high end embellishments.. Love the fact that many items are from her grandmother….gives such meaning. Which is what home is all about.
There was an American Television Writer on 60 Minutes, who aired on Sundays, following the 60 Minute episodes. His name was Andy Rooney. The framed picture of the man in your office space looks like Andy. He was a great Commentator.
Hi Sara, i enjoyed seeing your home so much. It is lovely and a place I too wouldn't mind calling home. I especially enjoyed seeing all of your family heirlooms in your decor, I know they are special. I got several ideas from your tour that I would like to incorporate in my home. This is funny, as I was watch your presentation you mentioned growing up in El Paso, TX. I live in El Paso and have for 65 years. One of my favorite things to do is go to estate sales and antique shop around town. I also like to watch shows on youtube about other peoples homes. Thank you for having me in your home, I enjoyed it so much! Just curious, when did you live in El Paso? Best regards, Donna.

@@TradeWynn65 I agree, the office color is lovely!
I agree with you, and I was going to make a comment, because I badly wanted to see the powder room sink!! lol

Finally …an interior decorator who isn’t a maximalist. Such a tasteful home ..I’d love this lady to decorate my home
Yes 😊
One of the prettiest homes I’ve seen on this channel…I could move in tomorrow as is!
👍
Classic beauty that will be just as beautiful for years and years to come. Thanks for sharing with us.
God bless this lady and her family! What a beautiful home!
Beautiful dress, beautiful home, Homeworthy ❤️
That dress!!! 😍
Agreed! So many times the home host is wearing a dress, and I always wish they would also note where that comes from!
One of the most, if not the most, beautiful and tasteful homes I have seen on Homeworthy!
How beautiful! Pretty without being over the top fussy. Well thought out elegance.
Nice! Finally, a gal that has a CLASSIC GORGEOUS hairstyle, not the 'parted in the middle, droopy, limp stringy hairstyle' most have now! THANK YOU! Pure classy hairstyle, home and dress! LOVELY!!
I call that spaghetti hair and I'm being charitable.

Fresh and comfortable. Enjoyed her mixing the prized family pieces with practical choices, especially the stair runner.
Elegant and comfortable appointed family home without being excessively showy or pretentious. Lovely host. Very refreshing to watch this video.

I enjoyed each detail of this home. The homeowner is lovely as well.
Ms. Johnson has an enviable eye for detail. What a fresh, inviting take on traditional interior design.

So beautiful with warmth. And she is very genuine
Love all the textiles, casegoods , light fixtures and especially the living room wallpaper. On the hunt for it now :)
My favorite so far, and it's very stiff competition! What a dream of a kitchen! Gorgeous without being overdone or stuffy.
also over 3 million, so no wonder I love it!
I love everything abt her house...she’s got amazing taste
Somewhat bland from the outside, exquisite inside, the fixtures above the island in the kitchen are really easy on the eye. Very special.
