Lia began her career in New York City, translating her love of art and architecture into the world of interior design where she worked for 12 years. Every now and then a home pops up that I say, “That’s what I’m going for”. There are many great homes on Homeworthy, but it’s these eclectic, classic/vintage/modern art, prints, photographs extremely comfortable yet extremely stylish, lots of brass… I freaking love this home and it’s now another Homeworthy favorite that I will watch over and again getting design ideas.
You are incredibly wise to keep that very special purple bathroom! It’s inspiring to see someone who doesn’t want to just delete designs of the past.
It’s so enjoyable to listen to someone who has an even inflection in her voice!😊
A beautiful hostess and a wonderful home. What an amazing collection of art and furnishings. Love all the maritime art. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is a beautiful cozy home. Love all of the family pieces incorporated into their home. Loved the purple/mauve bathroom too. She was a lovely woman too and well spoken.
Love this fun home! Purple bathroom is a keeper!
The last few tours haven't been my style. This home feels (at least through the screen) really comfortable, lived in and beautiful!
Love her style and artwork. 😍
Beautiful lady and home.
Such a beautiful personalized home.
I like that the home looks comfortable and lived in with hardware missing from furniture. 😊
Love the orchid bathroom!! So awesome to have such a gorgeous original. Mine is long gone
My all time favorite episode!
Love Charleston and the home.
What a lovely home! But that purple bathroom!!!! 💜💜💜 🤩
Obsessed with every single inch
Such a relatable home and home owner! Love how not everything is perfect---like in a REAL home:). The marbled lampshades can be found at Pentreath & Hall in the U.K.
Great house and a host with a great personality!
Creative and pretty.
Very nice! Super relatable persona and cozy home
I absolutely love 95% about this home and her style! The one thing I could not live with is the “dining booth.” I don’t like them in restaurants and I certainly would not want one in my home. Claustrophobic and impractical.
I was thinking the same of the dining nook and not a fan of kitchen banquettes, but I am sure they dine a lot outside.
Well, I love it ❤ Love!! Cozy vibes🎉
Love the house!
This is so lovely ♥️♥️
Casually elegant.
Looooooove this BEAUTIFUL home!!!!@
I wonder how her house made out with the storm. Especially with having a basement 😢
I want that orange wallpaper ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks.
Gorgeous
Good one!
This is my style ❤❤❤❤
Okay
Love the house. Love the Hostess.
But y’all need an EDITOR.
I’m not in the biz and wouldn’t consider myself an expert at this stuff (it might be called Continuity) but the woman talks on (and on, and not in a bad way) at around 03:48 about a friend of hers artwork on the basement door… and then you don’t show the item AT ALL. Okay… I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt: you checked with your friend and they didn’t sign the release or give permission to show the item AND you did tell your Editor, or did remember to take the item in question out of the video… BUT forgot to do the sound editing.
It’s newly released and I’ve caught it.
Just consider fixing it ASAP and releasing that version. You don’t have to keep this one and there are less than (I haven’t checked the viewership number) such and such people to pay off. We can all be bought.
Yes… that includes me!
Happy to help.
(LOL. Over here making that consulting editor fee money, honey)!!! Life IS abundantly good.
Glad she finally called her “husband” by his first name. Only once.. And said “our” kids.
;)
I've noticed this in past videos, were it never shows what the home owner is talking about. I'm glad someone else mentioned this.
I'd love to know the paint color for the dark blue bedroom. I showed my husband, and he loved it as well. That rarely happens.
Really enjoyed this tour. Lovely home and the owner seemed down to earth. It's very frustrating when the owner is talking about a piece of art and the camera person never videos it. Happens too often. Otherwise loved this and love Homeworthy.
I would have loved a RED kitchen!……hope she sells a lot of her artwork….I LOVE THE WALLPAPER with geraniums on it….so pretty.
I wonder if Baker can help with the missing hardware
what is the wallpaper website please?
I love this home! One of my favorite Homeworthy episodes. 🫶
So far, the only good taste I've seen was the Bombay Gin!
She may not have your taste but it is good taste whichever way you look at it.
