So I have had some copyright issues with this video (it originally got blocked). *It is unblocked for the moment but the dispute process is still underway, so I'm not sure how much longer it'll be available for.* So I hope you enjoy it!
Stupid thing is its not even a new song, he sang it in 2019 and there are live versions on youtube already. It seems its not the song that's the problem, but the video, which is even more stupid, videos are supposed to promote the song!!

I love this reaction and analysis, spot on once again, Caleb. What a change-up for Dimash! He is constantly stretching his creative muscles and he is surrounding himself with innovative artists like himself. I love the reinvention/reimagining of this song and the story telling and great visuals. This song has been in his repertoire for a while now. He is someone who is always learning and trying new things. He is a brave, bold, confident young guy who never rests on his laurels.

I am surprised that Dimash decided to make MV for this song , I guessed he would do MV or live performance for the song " over here". To me, " Over here" sounds better than " golden".

It’s a wonderfully conceived mini-movie music video... with Dimash as a cyberpunk Robin Hood... Steals the money with the girl, loses the girl, gives all the money away, then squashes evil at the end - with his army of Dears. And hopefully regains the girl. Superb Reaction!!!

Dimash is doing a great job at expanding his artistry. Being a young guy this is the time to do so.
I agree he is taking a cue from Michael Jackson’s videos with a full story. Since we know Michael was an idol of his it’s not surprising he is taking a go at this.

Thanks for your reaction. We understand that the theme is an age old one and has been repurposed here. It still resonates today, in fact more so now. I love the grit you talk about in his voice and would love to hear more of it. Dimash definitely has acting ability and I would love to see him develop it with the outcome being perhaps a play or movie in his native language. We know that Dimash is versatile, innovative and a pathbreaker and as long as he is true to himself he will always be golden (valuable) and by association we too will be golden (worthy). The word 'golden' is a great descriptor and fits very nicely.

Dimash said that this was all about good vs evil and he is the good :) Dimash is coming to the U.S. to win over the west :) I think he's going to Ca. to live awhile, like he did in China (lived there for 3 yrs).

Dimash starts his concerts with this song and dancers - cool. Important is a message hrere, he is engaged person and a voice of young generation. IT is not sci fi is our today reality and "normal" guy with others normal guys can deafed a usurper, then the world became better. HIs vocal is so powerful and the song is catching. He is rock star there.

Just wondering, have you seen Dimash’s online concert in January? No videos have been released of it so far, I hope they will because it was something really amazing, almost like a musical. I mean he is truly showing to be so much more than a voice miracle, a truly outstanding artist! And obviously he has an outstanding team as well!

I’m glad Dimash is expanding his craft. In a documentary someone said Dimash needs to break America. We are very happy with his music but as a fan we know his sole purpose of not joining the opera was to bring something new. As for the video , it’s kind of a little Robin Hood cyber punk feel. The end almost symbolizes that no matter what his dears have his back.

Infact the first time I heard the new golden version on Spotify... I was wondering why they used this artificial metallic guitar sounds. I am very happy about his voice being slightly edgy here and there. I love Rock and Metall music, so I am really happy to discover a bit of that contamination in Dimash's Angel voice.. while seeing the video I understood why that kind of sound... so cool. On UA-cam, type "Dimash Phantacity". You'll see this made for Chinese TV drama (with 2 songs) with additional behind the scenes footage and English subs, from Gloria Wu's channel. It's about 20 min. long. Dimash played a light heavyweight boxer under pressure by these shady characters to throw fights. At one point, Dimash stopped himself from kissing his love interest in the piece, saying that his mother said no kissing. At the time, given the director's difficulty in getting Dimash to show affection, I believed him. So I was surprised by the beginning of this video. Live performances of this song are usually uplifting, without all of the added sinister elements - sort of an upbeat song with dancers to add variety.

I love Dimash and am a fan that watch Dimash's reaction everyday. But something about this song is not easy to listen to for me. I think it's hard to become a hit like other Dimash's songs. The MV is cool, high quality of production, story line is ok, acting is good. BUt the song itself is hard to follow, the melody is not too good for me. I still love it overall as it is from Dimash, but honestly I don't enjoy the song as much as I wish I could.

He also used compression for the "Yeah!" in the "We Will Rock You" part of the Queen medley he did with the Super Vocal Boys as a guest on Singer 2019. ( I think it's on Facebook and Vimeo). He also did that scream on "The Show Must Go On" on Singer, which I guess he learned from Freddie's on the Queen video.
