Coming back to this years later, I really do miss this dizzy. The beat selection, the sample selection, the flow, the substance he brought was top tier at the time. I know artist progress and develop but these type of songs are his bread and butter

I swear i miss this dizzy. I wish he would make songs like this, solo dolo, fuck your opinion, tha truth, hatin on me, cant trust em,dont mind if i do, turnt up, hotel stripper, happy. The dizzy that was a stoner but had knowledge & peace. We he came out i loved him he was like any other stoner artist, his music wasnt just about getting high & partying it was about peace knowledge & other stuff. He reminded me of a young snoop dogg mixed with bob marley

Arguably one of the most important songs I've ever heard. And I've been a music connoisseur for at least 10 years now in almost every genre. This song is just beautiful. Something that almost anyone can learn from, has a vibe that damn near anyone can get with and nod their head. I could listen to it 1,000 times and will still learn something new the 1,001st time.... Needless to say. He snapped. Dizzy for prezidentials!

There was a moment in time where I was homeless in Louisiana, struggling and depressed. My girl had just left me, my boss had just disappeared without paying me, and I had to see my brother get beat up by the cops while I got mazed. Hard times, hard times indeed. Dizzy, you got me through it, your music was like medicine, it fueled me to keep going. Thank you brother.

This is honestly still my favorite song from Dizzy Wright. The verse "if you wanna hide something from a nigga the best way to do it is put it in a book" hit me because I feel Dizzy is saying that the best way to reach our people is through music and so this is the avenue he's chosen to teach this wisdom. I heard this song when I was in high school and here I am 7 years later still amazed.

he is wearing toms in his video. for the haters if you buy a pair of toms they give a pair to someone who needs them.
