Racism annoys me so damn much
HOW can a HUMAN, look at another HUMAN and feel differently about them because their SKIN is a different colour, like what, it makes no sense, I grew up around racism towards Indians and other eastern people, just because they eat differently and have a strong religious belief meaning they wear things to cover their face etc, this annoyed me so damn much, in my class when I was 5 years of age until 12, there was 1 pakistani girl, she was everyones friend, but as we grew older, certain people started to treat her differently, to the point she left our school.
My point, RACISM IS LEARNED AND TAUGHT.
Is it just me that sees it this way, but in a world where racism is everywhere, how can kids not grow up developing racist opinions, a few of my friends would say racist stuff around me, i'd turn around and say what? go into a massive rant with them about how dumb stereotyping is, and how the only difference is skin colour, they would be stumped, AS THEY REALISED HOW STUPID RACISM IS.
How can it be stopped, well that's a difference argument, it's like football teams, you can't win the argument.
But you have to start somewhere, Dizzy probably thought, man how can I stop my fellow people being shot for no reason other than being black before portraying his views into this great song, but see that's part of the problem, a black person sees another black person and thinks "thats my brother, or my n*gga" that's part of the problem, grouping a race together and binding them with a word that stems from horrible acts of slavery, only keeps racism going, if there is a word that a black man can say, but a white man can't, racism will always be around, maybe it's not my place to speak on this, but I feel it doesn't help.
Look at a TV ad these days, if there are 4 people in that ad, 1 is black, 1 or 2 are white, and 1 are say, Mexican, Portuguese anything, companies are so scared of being racist, they cast based on skin colour, isn't this racist? this is a part of the problem then right?
I had to voice this stuff, as it has been eating away at me, with the terrorist attacks in paris, a new story of a black teen being shot for no reason emerging pretty much weekly, it's been getting to me, when you actually look, racism is everywhere and it's not right.
Maybe we can dream of a world where racism doesn''t exist and people are smart enough to make their own opinions, rather than grasping to idiotic racism.
To think 100 years ago, a black man was not equal in society, they were slaves to the white man SICKENS me deeply.
Look how far we have came these 100 years, now equality exists, maybe in 100 years we will all look at each other and judge no man based on skin colour.
Maybe if more people voiced their opinion elsewhere, we could start the path to 100 years in the right direction.
If you feel the same way as I do, when you see racism and you can stop it, bring the racist down to nothing by teaching him how stupid stereotyping and racism is, educate them, don't fight them or hurt them, educate them.
