They cast beautifully- I am yet to find a lure that will go further at 40g! However, (and. A BIG HOWEVER), after 1 evening it was pretty worn. Paint chipping off after one session isn't great, considering, as you say, what it costs. Each to their own, but where I am (for Bass) I'm sticking with Silicone. Always got this is the bag for the distance. If I need to reach the gulls, it's here in reserve. Shame I can't add a photo to illustrate, longevity is a concern for most people.
Try the fisheagle hunt lures from Glasgow angling centre, exact same shape and style as the seeker but half the price. I've found bass like these and had 3 bass in 20 minutes on one
I am cursed with savage gear seekers, I've bought many many seekers, I caught a decent sea trout on my first cast with my very first seeker but I've caught nothing on them since then in 4 years.. and I seem to lose every seeker I buy very quickly to snags and random weird crack offs. Doesn't happen with any other lure, metal or otherwise lol
Brilliant lure 🎣🎣🎣👍🏻
Bought 100 of them different colours and sizes.have had plenty of bass .but ive hit trout but they came off.great lures

Great shoutout mate, just ordered
Found them before but can’t seem to find them lower than a 30G
@@stiofain4693 they have them in 28g & 43g
Had a 9 bass in a seeker yesterday il definitely be trying some of these at that price
Thanks
They now have them in 15g & 20g now, but hurry up they wont last long @stiofain4693
Fantastic review, got one arriving today and looking forward to trying it out, how do you find it when there's a strong current
I find fishing in a strong cross current it spins way too much causing the braid to twist badly
Good info, my favourite lure currently can't bring myself to use anything else for Sea Trout right now
Buy hunt lures from Glasgow angling centre they are a copy and have the price I have caught bass pollack and seatrout with them
12g definitely for sea trout, depending on time of year I find big lures are hard work when there’s lots of baitfish about for sea trout
Do you use the 12g versions at all or stick to the 16g & 28g
Never used 12g but will in future ☺️

I've found them to be the worst for line twist unfortunately
Tried the line-thru Seeker? Will probably solve the twist issue but I cant say if it moves like the original Seeker in the water.
