Thanks for watching all of them bro! I really appreciated! I hope you get a prelude soon, because their great fun cars. Hahaha yea she loves laying in the sun.
Thanks for the video ! This is the easiest car to change speakers I’ve ever had ! Only thing I did different is NOT cut any wires. I left the original Crossover “AMP” and removed the electronics from the stock speaker and installed it perfectly in the same spot on my new speaker with some door bell wire . The crossover has 2 holes and I braced each hole with its own wire side to side you can pull it right and mount it proper . Much Better than cutting all that wire & sounds better . That’s the right way to keep it stock and use all OEM wiring and components
Did you not change your head unit because from what I have heard, you HAVE TO bypass the amp if you replace the head unit for the rear speakers to even work?
sagar kumar I just wanted to keep it stock for a while, I’m gonna rip out soon and do it all proper like my integra ua-cam.com/video/TrbcBPiMZ-s/v-deo.html
Hey bud, I've been thinking of getting a Prelude for ages and UA-cam has nothing on them... Your updates show me how easy they are to deal with, if anything encouraging me to buy one more...
Hey man thanks for watching! Preludes are awesome cars but their also kinda rare, you'll see more civic/integra parts than preludes, but trust me it's more satisfying buying that part you have been looking for ages than just order one easily like you would do for a civic or integra. Their super easy to easy cars to learn on. I would recommend getting one because they can be quiet cheap. Their also extremely fun to drive.

Looks like a lot of work I have the same setup in my 2000 Prelude type SH. I put a new radio in and just ran fresh OFC speaker wires to the radio problem solved. Later I just disconnected the speaker from the radio and hooked it straight to my JL Audio amp.
Hey I know this is a long shot to get a response but! Why cut 8 wires ?! Can't you just cut the wires needed ( RR +,- AND LR +,-) I don't understand why you cut the pink and the others ! May you please explain? Thanks man !
6.5 is the correct size but if they are not super shallow speakers you will have to cut out the speaker cup on the door panel and use a custom mounting hardware set up
I have a 1997 prelude base and mine had the same problem. Thanks for the vid now ill finally be able to hear ALL my speakers
+Ryan Ellis No problem mate glad i could help.
This saved me a few hours of work and frustration…thank you for this!

What size is that front door speaker
I did this and have no sound to rr speaker. What could be the issue?

Because the other wires are then connected to the speaker wires. If you just cut only the speaker wires you wouldnt have anything to connect them to.
I’m not sure if this is the fix but when my car is on full volume the back speakers cut in and out when the bass kit sometimes
For some reason my right rear speaker sounds lower then the rest, any ideas why?
Where does light green and white, white and yellow run? Previous owner cut it and I can't find it
What is the box to the left of the amplifier
Extremely helpful. Thanks
You did a nice job dude....
Thanks man.
Very useful!
+Sky Chang glad i could help!

@@CldBroccoli Thnx for the reply, but I got them figured out lol. I appreciate it.
@@Chue_Media98 what did you end up doing?
Nice video man ;)
+ethan milner Thanks bud! Thanks for helping out!
What wires do I cut
That is awesome thanks man
what other benefits came from this mine isnt bypass but it feels very flat n when. i turn it up it gets alot of static
what was the size of the speaker
If you don't mind me asking what size were those JVCs?
you look like the guy from the first youtube video
Nah I'm not cutting anything.
Better find a connector adapter or insert tabs into the connector.
And keep the amp bolted in unplugged.
lmao that girl just chillin
Heck yea bro she's always chilling haha
dude i need check my rear speakers lol.
Yo I got some questions, do you have any social media where I can text you.?
