Nice build, have you got any recommendations on buying a bit of woodland other than the 2 commercial websites we see, as they're always sold, or too expensive. Do you know of any less known websites or companies, or any other methods in getting woodland? I've found a great spot myself looks untouched for decades but no idea how to go about finding the owner or claiming. The forestry register wants £35 just to find out owners

All I can say is I got lucky.
I found the woods on google earth.
I’ve lived 10 mins away all my life and I’ve never been.
I spent a day there to get a sense of human traffic and a week later I started building.
6 months into the build the landowner found out and got in touch with me.
We met and he was happy for me to stay and continue.
He understood my reasons behind wanting to do this and for that I’m eternally grateful.
