What a spicy video!! 🔥🌶Like I said, I will not sugarcoat anything on this channel! What are your thoughts?💎 What else should I react to? Tell me in the comments below!
Totally agree with the "shrink factor" phenomenon. When I was in high school (in the 70's), if you got a 1/2 carat diamond solitaire engagement ring, you were royalty! Generally 1/4 carat was a big deal. Now? My Hubby reproposed to me on our 25th engagement anniversary with a 2.25 diamond solitaire. It seemed huge after wearing a 1ct. solitaire. Now, five years later? I WANT at least a 3.5 carat solitaire!! 😆
@@ByBonnieJewelry I actually made a mistake on my post. Just corrected it. It was the 25th anniversary of the proposal that he gave me the 2.25ct solitaire. This year is THIRTY YEARS! OMG! Can't believe that myself. Maybe I need a FOUR carat solitaire for 30 years. 😆
As a new follower.... I LOVE how informative your videos are.. I've learned so much about what I want and what I don't! The content, the editing, your personality... keep it coming! Hugs & love to you! Michelle xo
I’m here for the bling.💍 Throw those trolls in the trash where they belong!😂 I have learned SO much from your channel. When I talk to coworkers about jewelry, they go, “Oh, my goodness! I’m gonna take you shopping with me so I know what to get!”😂 I’m totally team lab grown and am proudly rocking this 2 carat ring. Shrink factor is indeed real, and I’m absolutely in love with my upgrade.
Hi Bonnie! Happy new year! As a follower of yours for four years, I really enjoy your all your videos. I completely agree with you. There’s no reason for the negativity. I prefer diamonds that are 1 to 1.5 carat in size, as long as they are of high quality. I still love that you generally show larger diamonds. The diamond quality and quality of the craftsmanship is top tier! I enjoy seeing all the beautiful pieces. I also feel the same regarding Lab grown or earth- mind diamonds. It’s totally personal preference. I have both. My husband proposed to me 24 years ago with an earth-minded colorless, radiant cut diamond. I never want to upgrade it. That’s OK! And if someone wants to upgrade, that’s OK too! It’s between a couple . You learn all the facts, you consider what’s best for your budget, and you go for it. The world would be a better world if people were just happy for each other and worried less about such things!❤💍
Bonnie!!!! Keep these coming with these videos!!! Honestly absolutely looove watching you grow and coming out of your shell, being more confident, in each video you make! When you sit and talk to us, it actually feels like we’re sitting down with you and getting educated face to face! You literally cover all the questions we’re curious about lol I just got my 5ct upgrade, cathedral setting on a 2mm plain band but with a tulip setting, for our 10’year anniversary and a bigger half eternity band! And it was inspired by you last set ❤❤❤ I’m obsessed 😍 ❤
The shrink factor is REAL! My 4ctw diamond studs were once a dream size. Now they’re too small😂🤩 I’m hoping to upgrade my earrings to 6ctw this year. I agree with going big everytime bc eventually you will want the larger piece. I live by this now
Rather than write hateful comments just because you can’t afford the stones Bonnie features, why not just learn and enjoy the content? I got married 20 yrs ago and never afforded an anniversary ring much less an upgrade, but not hating on monied clientele.
Omgosh!!! I love the voice over on the comments 😂😂😂 Love your content and channel!! When people ask about my ring I say, “I don’t know what do you think” Usually shuts them up. Bc they don’t know!!! 😂 I have both mined and lab! They can never tell 😅.
I totally agree with you regarding fluorescence. My natural diamond solitare has strong fluorescence and it looks whiter and brighter than other natural diamonds of the same color grade. It also doesn't look oily or hazy at all! I find that the troll who said your channel was toxic was a hypocrite, they were the one being toxic! Lol 😆 I absolutely love your channel and appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos! Please ignore the haters. Hugs 😊❤
Thank you so much for the kind words and support! 🥰 I’m so glad your diamond has that beautiful fluorescence glow, it sounds like an absolute stunner! 💎✨
@ByBonnieJewelry It is! The solitare is 1.7 carat, color H, SI1, excellent symmetry, excellent cut, excellent polish, strong fluorescence. The way it's cut you can't see any inclusions with the naked eye. I love it! ; )
you are a much stronger woman than i am, for staying so calm responding to these - i'm in the middle of you discussing the second comment, and i'm about to lose my shit :D
If I had a lab grown diamond & someone had the balls to ask me if it was a lab, I would just say “It was a gift from my husband & I thought it would be RUDE to ask him; so IDK….” Sure you’re not 100% truthful, but does that people REALLY DESERVE the truth???
Keep the education going Bonnie! I have learned so much since watching your videos and yes, MYOB! It's no one's business if you feel like buying a lab grown diamond vs. a natural diamond.
I absolutely dispise people giving hateful feedback. If they don't like what they see and hear, why not just move along and mind their spiteful tongues. There's of course a much more direct answer I would give them, but I'd rather not stoop down to their level 😡 Bonnie, yóú are a lovely person in and out and thanks to yóú I've learned só much about diamonds and everything going with it. I thought I knew diamonds before, but I was só very wrong! Thanks to yóú I nearly got my PhD in knowing diamonds 😉😂 But seriously, thank you for making these videos and thank you for being you. I appreciate you. Much love, as always 🤗🤍🪽
Another reason why people upgrade their diamonds later in life is bc they are not irresponsible purchasing rings they can’t afford at the time of proposal. There’s nothing wrong with upgrading bc you want it, and you’re doing better financially.
Trolls were born as, live as and will die as low grade diamonds in the rough. Maybe because they think they aren't enough. If they're less toxic, they can shine their scruff with some buff. But most won't and that's tough. Bonnie, you do YOU, you Queen of Diamonds and sparkle, glitter and shine on and on!
Not necessarily! While fluorescence can sometimes be a characteristic of natural diamonds, it’s not the only indicator. Jewelers would look at various factors, such as the diamond's growth patterns, inclusions, and more 💖
When Bonnie wears black you know it's serious 😳😳😳😁....the Tom & Jerry cartoon with welding masks was hilarious 😄 i think you should keep a welding mask on a table in the corner of your store and if someone asks what is that you say well sometimes our diamonds are so bright we need that so it doesn't blind you 😂😂😂...also yes it's called a UV flashlight but be very careful don't look at it for long and never shine it in your or someone's eyes 🙈
Bonnie, you are so right about shrink factor. When I got married in 1988 my husband gave me a 3/4 carat pear diamond. I thought it was big, but it isn’t. I would love to upgrade, but I am near retirement and don’t want to deplete my funds. Maybe some day!
I love your channel. I only wish I would've seen the "wanting to go to a larger diamond later" video before I gave my fiance my only 1 request, and that was the stone was not to be larger than 2.5 carats, don't get me wrong I absolutely love love love my ring, its just deep down I now wish it was larger. 🤫
I totally get that! But remember, it’s not just the size that makes a ring special, it’s the meaning behind it. And who says you can’t add more sparkle later on? 💎✨
There’s this mentality from a lot of women that people with lab grown diamonds are trying to pass off their diamonds as natural or make themselves appear wealthier than they are. I feel like most people who have labs know how much they were when they got them, they aren’t trying to be something they’re not. Maybe I just like bigger diamonds? I’ve also been asked if my 2 carat stone is “real,” which I feel like is often a question directed at women when in many cases she didn’t pay for it. I did pay for part of it though, and I’m about to upgrade to a 4 carat oval. I’m not “rich” but because my husband takes care of other things I am able to save for stuff like this.
Wow... The pettiness is real!!! I've been married for over 27 years and have had my ring upgraded 4 times. For our 25th year I got to a 2.3 carat lab grown diamond on my existing two tone 1.1 carat natural diamonds ring to wear with my 4 platinum natural diamond stacking bands. Sounds like a lot but they look fabulous. 😁
When people ask if my diamond is lab-grown, I am so tempted to ask if their child was ‘lab-grown’! Is an IVF baby any less precious than a ‘natural’ baby? It’s nobody else’s business!!!
What a spicy video!! 🔥🌶Like I said, I will not sugarcoat anything on this channel! What are your thoughts?💎
What else should I react to? Tell me in the comments below!
When someone asks me a nosy question I say " why would you ask me that?" shuts them right up!
What a perfect way to keep it classy and avoid the awkwardness! 🥰
"Lets keep it real!" I love it Bonnie! You are so informative & have educated us! Best to 2025!
Thank you dear for watching and supporting! Happy new year to you!

Agree. I just received my emerald cut ( on the larger size.) and it went from feeling too wow to now a comfortable fit if for a better term.
Congratulations on 20 years!!! OMG :))) Yassssss

Hi
Hello
