Liverpool is my home city, I have lived here all my life. You will not find more friendly and helpful people anywhere, and we will make everyone welcome.
But is your city really that haunted ? Is it difficult to travel around alone .Especially around the university of Liverpool area ,their accomodation ?Like going to the Liverpool Cathedral infront St James Cemetery or Penny Lane ?Or even the Cavern Club ?
@@033future There is no problem at all getting around on your own. I live about a mile from Penny Lane, there are lots of student accommodation around, so students are about all the time. There are some Books by a guy called Tom Slemen about Ghosts and Haunted Liverpool, but seriously, I have never seen any and over the years, I have been all over the city at all hours of the day and night so I would not worry 😁😁.
@@stephensmith4480 That's great .No I heard behind the city centre also there are tons of haunted flats ,all .The penny lane I forgot referring to was 44 th Penny Lane mainly which was mentioned by even the Beatles in one of their song too .But not in a haunted way. Also what about the orphanage at Newsham Park, the Cathedral? So overall you are saying Liverpool is not at all haunted ?
@@033future What I am saying is that I have never experienced anything like that but there are loads and loads of stories about places being haunted. Those parts of the city that you mentioned, around the Cathedrals etc are very old parts of Liverpool so draw your own conclusions my friend. There is a good book called, Haunted Liverpool by Tom Slemen, worth a read.
@@stephensmith4480 Alright. I wish to apply to the university of Liverpool but I am scared of living in those places with all the things I have heard of.I am scared of the dark ,all of these . I have a very close friend who has experience with all of this . Also is Penny Lane big ?
I was born in Toxteth but I was never raised in Liverpool. My mum lived near Anfield when she was pregnant with me but she moved out of Liverpool when I was 1. I moved to Liverpool in October of 2018 and I can honestly say I've never felt so at home before and ironically I live right at the end of Tuebrook which is considered a rough area but I've never felt more safe in my life. Liverpool and Bristol are two of my favourite cities.
I can admit I don’t live In Liverpool I’m from Plymouth and some areas like anfield are quite rough but when I went to everywhere it was such a lovely city

Lot cheaper than London and Manchester. The worst part would be weather, more rain and cold then ever, but the best I will know when I'll land there.
I miss Liverpool. I was a student there back in 1997-2000. Its a beautiful place to study and live.
Liverpools changed since 2008 when it got the big grant and became capital of culture, it's less run down now. You will enjoy it more :).
