In this video I'll show you how to remove a stuck toner cartridge and drum unit from a Brother Multi Function Center laser printer. This is a common problem with a lot of their printers but it's a pretty easy fix.

THANKS! Big help. I have a bigger printer (MFC 5900) and my problem was I couldn't get it IN, because the engaging gear was sticking out. Pulling that little tab was the key!

Do you know the difference between an St-DR420 drum unit and a DR420 drum unit? I have brother MFC 7860DW and ordered a new drum unit but it has ST-DR40 on the unit and when I put it the unit in it causes paper Jams almost every print job. Did I get the wrong drum unit?

My 2395 DW printer isn't built the same way. Won't work. I'll keep looking.

Thank you for your great tutorial. Unfortunately, it hasn't solved my problem. The drum of my Brother HL 2035 is stuck in the printer without the toner cartridge. Is there a fix for this?? I have unscrewed the bottom of the printer, but am not finding a solution. Any ideas?
