I took this from an old CD which may have extracted the song from a master tape of some kinds. The versions available on CD now are trimmed versions that don’t run longer than 3:35 mins. And the film version, as you said is much different. On top of all that you’ve listed, the film version has a bit of an “off-key” santoor opening. Madan Mohan had an outburst at the recording studio during the time this song was being recorded. It is likely that the santoor opening caused him to lose his temper.

It has different frequencies from the versions you hear on CDs presently. This CD was compiled by Sanjeev Kohli ji, son of Madan Mohan. He must have provided a original master tape of the song.
