A single segmented Real Time Attack Any% speedrun.
Timing starts when you press 'continue' on the 'autosave disabled' screen and ends on the final hit of the final boss, so when you first gain and finally lose control.
The run was made using a PAL PS2 and a PAL Crash Twinsanity.
This run is very old now, but at the time, it was a long standing world record.

This game had a great soundtrack, still one of my favourite games to date, Great soundtrack, awesome visuals (Even by today's standards, seeing as nothing too next gen has come out yet) good story, great controls.... did i miss anything?

i thought the racing was pretty fun in crash tag team racing but not the platforming
Crash of the Titans and Crash MoM are not bad,they are just different.
***** I played Crash of the Titans and Crash MoM and I wouldn't say they were bad but this is the last game that had platforming in it , proper platforming :P . I actually enjoyed both of them < kinda > but I wouldn't use the Crash Bandicoot name to do a different genre . Instead of them using the 'popular' Crash name to make a game , they could have invented a totally different character . When I bought MoM I expected another good platforming experience not a brawler like fighting game ;)
Archmage Vengard Mind Over Mutant was 50/50 platforming and fighting. Now, the platforming could've been better. I would've preferred slightly different jump physics. Something tighter and more controlled, with more of a need to necessitate precision in your movements. But it was fun as it was. I personally loved MOM and wanted it to be a model for future Crash games to improve on. Some better combat mechanics (better combo systems, and more creative uses for the Titans, such as Battler having a flying level) and tighter platforming in a sequel would give a MOM-type game Crash Warped-like quality.
Also, IMO, best way to play games is not to expect anything. Don't expect any game to be a certain way. Play it and absorb its qualities objectively, not through the filter of what was or "should be" Crash/Spyro/Sonic/whatever. Just some friendly advice.

Watching this has made me realize how perfect Cortex's voice is, like a 'Robotnik from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog' kind of perfect.

This goes to show you that this game wasn't completely ready for release, it had a rushed release. I swear he skipped 40% of the game soley through glitches
He skipped over All of Hokum Tokum, (Tikimon) Iceburg Lab, (Uka Uka) , Slip Slide Icecapes, Boiler Room Doom, (Dingodile), and Bandicoot Pursuit.

ShaunLovesAnimating yeah, this game had SO much potential. Had it finished development it would've been my favorite crash game as it mixed in the PS1 style gameplay with an open world style gameplay.
ShaunLovesAnimating I'm honestly a little worried about the graphics, part of me thinks the game looks best as is because of its cartoonish nature. Hopefully better graphics do the game justice and won't make it look awkward. Otherwise I have faith in Vicarious Visions. They've had alot of experience with Crash Bandicoot, they've even made their own crash games before.
I love how so many level skip glitches there are in this speedrun.
Props to the runner and also I must say Spyro is the best cameo in any game I know of XD
ooooooh, when i played through this game i didnt understand that much english so i never got the part with the zeppeliner, but now i get it, cortex told crash to tie it to something that would keep it from flying away xD
well, a schoolbus Would keep it down, would've been more funny if he tied it to a cow or something xD

Nevermind, done it XD. And killed myself instantly due to non solid ice :'( (Done this like 10 times, but the rest due to ice-slide). Dude, can you do a tutorial on how to do this? is fakin hard.

I've found that at 14:53, while N-gin is talking, you can still move Crash across the middle, so when it goes back to crash he is already halfway across the middle

I want a sequel to Crash Twinsanity make it exclusive to all Sony Products PlayStation 4 and Vita, Use the same game mechanics from the crash Twinsanity, Have the ability to play as the 4 Bandicoots Crash, Coco, Crunch and Tawna each with their own unique abilities, make all Human Characters as monkeys such as Dr.N.Cortex, Dr.N.Gin and Dr.N.Trophy
Tawna was removed from the series.

Crash twinsanity was probably the perfection of crash bandicoot if they continued to make them like this and not like crash mind of mutant I would continue to buy them
Man this game had breath-taking backgrounds and environments.
I'm conflicted as to whether or not you can call something a speedrun if you just use lots of glitches but I'm still fairly impressed

I love this game but I hate that if you end up going back too far you have to replay a whole segment of the game before you can get back to where you were.

Have you done an updated any% speedrun? You definitely know some new tricks such as the massive Academy of Evil skip that wasn't present here. I'd love to see you do this again and see what other amazing skips you can do that I've never done or even tried before. I'm willing to bet you could do this in like 45 minutes

At the academy of evil, there is that cutscene that shows those enemies with lamps, you can double jump into the cutscene trigger and when it ends you're still in the air and you can jump to the roof. Could that like skip some parts of the academy of evil?
