Loved the video. I learnt something new. However I am using Ableton. I will try to follow the layout with what I have. I suppose the plugins work in many DAWS. I will watch the video again to get the details of settings. Thanks I have found your channel refreshing. A real working engineer with good tips for a hobbyist with a small recording setup.
This taught me how to get a decent master since I’m relatively new to production. Is the master what gives you the gradual volume changes when you fully bounce the whole project and turn the song up and down in volume, or is it a bit more nuanced than that?
Nice breakdown! I’m loving all the new content. I have a go to chain that I use as well. I’ll mix and match it a bit depending on the track. Once I’m done I usually export to a .WAV and do a final, final master with T-RackS One.
Awesome! I used to use T-Racks a looooong time ago. Mastered many records with it probably going back to the late 90s. One of the first analog modeled plugin suites. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the encouragement!!
Yet another great video...!...I would love it, when you have a minute to do templates for both Pro Tools and Reaper...!...Thanks You're doing great work...Keep it up...!!!
The only reason I don't do this is because I like the fact that when I think I am done with the mix I get to sweeten it even more as the last step. It does make sense though as another way to look at the process for sure.

My natural way is somewhere between top down and bottom up. 😕

That's a nice way to look at it! I'm glad you enjoy that process. I think I want to wrap it up quickly before I ruin it haha
