Oats all the way. He's had five recruiting classes in the top 15 in the country, 6 players drafted to the NBA, has the third ranked recuting class coming in, plays an NBA style of basketball that effective snd prepares players to play professionally and he gets the right players out of the portal. He also has two regular season SEC titles and two SEC tournament titles.
I think both schools feel good about their coach. That being said I like Oats better for sure
Oats has the head to head advantage , win percentage and more tournament wins in half the time of Pearl. It’s not even close. Nate all day. Roll Tide !!! Win % while he at Bama and pearl at au btw. Pearl only been past second round one time and Nate has been to the sweet 16 3 times in 5 yrs and one of em at least a final 4
I'd take Oats over Hubert Davis & Jon Scheyer.

Oats will be gone to the NBA within the next 5 yrs. He may go as an analyst or coordinator, but he’s gone.
Bruce is a better all-around coach and much better at developing players, especially for the NBA.
Surely that’s not a popular opinion. Oats has produced six draft picks in five years, four of which first rounders. Already has developed more NBA players than Bruce Pearl in half the time.
@user-ku7ys1qz7h Pearl took over an Auburn program that had been in shambles for years, so it was going to take time to build it back up. Oats took over for an Alabama program that was light-years ahead of Auburn, so yes, of course he did it in half of the time, lol! Pearl has done more with lesser talent. He's better at the X's and O's and scheming. As long as you guard the perimeter, the majority of the time, bama isn't worth a damn. Get outta here.

@@chrishough5834In every regard, Oats has Pearl beat since he got the job: head to head, conference championships both regular season and tournament, NBA players produced, wins in March and overall wins. Tell me again, how does being better with X’s and O’s not favor Oats?
@@kevinprisant now I know you only watch football, lol! Bruce has 2 regular season conference championships and 2 conference tournament championships. He also has 6 in the nba, 4 of which are first rounders.
Oats has the head to head, more NBA players produced, more tournament success since being hired, and recruits at a higher level.
