Yup. Virgin Crowley or sex averse Crowley are tags. He's just only into Aziraphale and the rest REALLY turns him off, while Aziraphale is out there shagging history (Oscar Wilde, surely!)

One of my favorite fics is when Gabriel makes a surprise inspection at the bookshop while Crowley is visiting Aziraphale. Crowley shapeshifts into a snake and when Gabriel asks why he has a snake. Aziraphale goes and blurts out “that’s my emotional support snake!”

The other day I read a fantastic ineffable fic, what if Crowly has always had an obsession for stars and what it means and why he is so keen to take angel with him to Alpha Centauri. It’s soooo beautifully written and in character, the bantering is just humorous as well as touching, only it was written in Chinese and it gave me heartburn when I realized it couldn’t be read by more readers. 😢

@@harlequeenchannel The angel network is sort of a cross over? :) Neverwhere makes an appearance as well, so does a 90s movie about Micheal (the Archangel). Supernatural is an alternate dimension (nightmare world as dubbed by the ineffable bois) but Castiel falls through and they can communicate afterwards. :)

Thank you for the kind comments, the idea kind of took hold of me and wouldn't let go until I wrote it. i read a fic where they were reborn as house plants and i expected it to be kind of silly and funny but BOY WAS I WRONG. not in a bad way though, it was absolutely amazing. i never thought i would experience so many emotions from a story about plants. the fic was called ineffable husplants and i highly recommend it.

About the nail painting fic, Came To Me In Colours; I'm sure it's been mentioned before that Aziraphale regularly gets manicures in the book, so the shared intimate moment wouldn't be that far fetched or silly. Like almost all things with Crowley, nail painting would most likely be a new an delightful experience for the angel.
Asexual or Sexual no one can deny that these two are absolutely perfect for each other and I love seeing people tell wonderful stories of them both Fluffy and Smuty.

haha i got so happy seeing this vid!! another really great ineffable husbands fic is i'd like you and i to go romancing by dollsome - the basis of the fic is a 5 + 1 where after the notpocalypse, people keep mistaking crowley and aziraphale for a couple. the fic is in aziraphale's pov, so we get to see him figuring out what their relationship is and what crowley is to him. also, aziraphale does magic!!!!
on an unrelated note, i'm kind of on a marvel kick and found this gem of a spideytorch fic called always glad you came by aloneintherain! don't know if anyone still reads stuff from this ship, but hey! it's all good. basically all i have to say is awkward superhero teen romance feat. an overprotective fantastic four. it's so sweet, but has a few angsty bits with misunderstandings about spidey's age and things. but teen spidey and teen johnny's feelings are so well done! the universe is also kind of ambiguous, which i think is great for making your own headcanons!

I'm ridiculously pleased with all of these recommendations, and I am so glad there's mention of the Chronic Pain!Crowley cause there's so much good fluff running along that trope and most of the people writing those fics are people who suffer chronic pain themselves. It's AWESOME.

I'm letting you know: I need to hear more about the Raphael headcanon.
I had to pause the video to go read the fic then come back but then I’d have to pause the video AGAIN to read another one. It took me a long time to watch this video all the way through! I love all the fics you recommend, there’s so much content it’s hard to find a starting point in the flood of new fans
The most adorable one I've ever read is by Katzedecimal, titled "Sleeping in the Sunshine", wherein one of them gets temporarily turned into a cat by Gabriel and the other one doesn't know it's him, and cuteness ensues for about a week. There's a sleeping scene that will make your heart explode. Total fluff, maximum ship-romance, pre-endtimes, lots of internal dialogue about feelings. Loved it.
Oh nice!!! And yes, I am having an absolute BLAST rolling around in all of the fic in the fandom, as well as adding my own to the mix. This fandom is so much fun.
I read the sins of love because of this video and I cried the whole time reading it, man it was so good but I don’t recommend reading it at 3 in the morning when you might be feeling emotionally unstable.
I love the soft fics so much, especially if their wings are involved in some form! And the plot bunnies keep coming, too. I want to get back to writing, but what scares me about it is that there is a TON of fics, and I probably can't write anything that hasn't been done already. Might still try my hands at some Ineffable Husbands fic!
I highly suggest ‘The 21st Century, In Which They Finally Work It Out’ by chaya.
"The Sacred and the Profane" by afrai. Keep in mind it was written before the show, so it's more book Canon. It's an AU where Aziraphale is the demon and Crowley is an angel. I'm so sorry.
I knew this was already going to be recced, but I I'm seconding it with the caveat that you will NOT BE OKAY once you finish reading it, so make sure you are in a good and safe headspace when you start. Be careful and take the warnings seriously. Stay safe.

Im in the Jeeves & Wooster fandom. And I've noticed ALOT of Jooster fans are also Ineffable Husbands fans. So, gonna recommend...if you like Crowley/Aziraphale, you should definitely check out Jeeves/Wooster, they have soooooo much good fanfic.

I've only read one ineffable husbands fic so far (because I started reading it when I first joined the fandom a few weeks ago and I'm /still/ reading it) anyway it's called Crown of Thorns [The Walls, the Wainscot, and the mouse] 'Verse by irisbleufic, it's the longest fic I've ever read with 75 chapters and 275000 words, it's post canon set post notpocolypse where Aziraphale and Crowley decide to move to a seaside cottage and then get together, there are original characters which I'm not usually a fan of but in this its done Incredibly well, there's a fair bit of smut but I most of its not overly explicit which aligns with my personal preference, and they also add in chapters set throughout history and also include different tropes, also the writing is amazing, the quality is good and the style is that of an actual novel, honestly I could go on but this is already tldr, like I said I haven't read any other good omens fics as of yet but I've read far to many to count from various other fandoms and this is probably up there with my favourite fics of all time
If anyone wants a fic that is a combination of angst, 3 times Crowley saves Aziraphale (except the one time he can't - hence the angst), and Raphael!Crowley, then may I recommend City of Gold (Icarus) by kbaycolt.
Honestly, the last two chapters are a story on their own, and are the most interesting and emotionally fulfilling imo👌

alright i have a headcanon that aziraphale reads to crowley, like his own personal audiobook. know crowley said he doesn't read books, but he loves aziraphale and loves hearing his voice so can enjoy literature when his angel reads it to him. might write a fic for it, i semi included it in a proposal oneshot, twas fun

I would recommend checking out Other Half (written by, zetared).
Its an interesting fic that takes the comment Neil Gaiman made about Crowley and Aziraphale originally being written as one character, but then was split into two and tries to explore what that would look like if that actually happened in the story.
The fic is an interesting, unique dive into the Ineffable Hisband relationship that I wish would keep going so that we could get a deeper dive into this fascinating concept and the full potential of it!

I haven’t read many GO fics yet but there’s a short one I really liked called “Stopgo”. I don’t remember the author but it’s an extension of “Aziraphale”’s trial in Hell, with very good Crowley and Gabriel characterization and dialogue.
