This is hilarious! How many Larson guys does it take to change a tire? 😂. I love Dougo. He comes in for 5 minutes and leaves!, Hope he has popcorn while he’s watching the DVD!😅
when taking the bottom bead off put your bar under the tire stick it over the dove tail between the tire and rim and pull up as the machine is rotating but as a tire man it is hilarious watching you guys do this
I worked in my family’s tire store. I changed my first tire at 8. I can’t imagine how many tires I have installed. If I set everything up correctly I can mount 4 tires in 7 minutes (just putting on the rim) watching someone struggle with the tire machine is so difficult. I love the way you guys asses problems.
@@HammieNL It’s funny how miserable people trolling the comments and being so negative. I am good at changing tires. I’ve done it more than the average bear. You have a wonderful day sweetheart. That was a good comedy show 😭 I was pulling out my hair watching you guys. Learned in my dads gas station at 12 yrs old and just retired last year at 64 yrs of age of being a tech, always fun to learn new stuff!

And you still need a coats 20-20 spin balancer. Not necessarily for the road tires for the Cultivator but the Trucks and cars - Front tractor 🚜 also. 5:47
You guys and the new tire changer.. that was so funny. It was like the blind leading the blind.hahahaa. that was a good video.oh and that weld job Doug did. Looked like a pigeon flew over and took a shit. That will buff out Eric said LMAO
lol. Take your tire bar. Put against the sliver thing you was calling a Doug? Pull the tire up over the rim and spin it. Then push down on the opposite side of the tire to bring bottom up and repeat the process. Then when start the tire start with the valve stem where you start the tire. Most of the if you lube push with your hands it will slip right on with little to no effort. You’ll figure it out after about 25. Dougo is on the right path though.
For someone growing up in a farm shop that has always changed their own tires I didn’t realize that it was this hard for someone to change a tire. 😂had to laugh.
funny stuff, 4 men to change a tire with a tire machine, as always great stuff you all put on a great show I can't wait to see the show, it could be like Friends or Seinfeld we love all of you keep up the great work be safe god bless
The metal part is called a duck head. Get your self a hard plastic duck head and its easier on the tire and wont peel the tire and wont scratch rims. On bottom metal pieces that hold the rim in place there is also plastic protective pieces I use when mounting nice rims
Well Dougo, I'm not a farmer but I know exactly what you mean. It's the same story with my children. I sometimes spend more time looking for my things than I can use them.😒
Sorry for laughing when you were welding. Your commentary was so appreciated. I had an uncle who owned Market Tire in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He would flip tires like nothing using the tire changer. However, I personally took "forever". Thank you for your UA-cam channel.
Dougo is the best like I can’t stop smiling he is so humble not afraid to fail but also keeps his sense of humour and even takes a bit of ribbing from the boys good guy for sure!
If you have wheels that you don’t wanna scratch, you wanna clamp it from the outside of the bead but if you have steel wheels or anything, you’re not worried about clamp it from the inside
You need to have a dedicated high speed grinder with a steel brush on it to buff rust or junk on rim where bead seats on rim, than you can use tire machine to rotate rim as you buff rim bead seat.
Don't get too upset over the quality of the aluminium welds I've seen guys who have done it for years and it still looks messy it's a very specialised skill to look nice. But on the bright side surfs up at Dougo's .
When I was 15, my first job working in a gas station. I fixed flats and it was not too difficult to take the tire on and off with the machine. Use a lot of lube.
Dougo you got a good welder and spool gun maybe you should go take aluminum welding courses also make sure your using the correct gas can't use the steel mix like you do for regular steel needs to be Argon should look like quarters laid out when done properly
That was so funny, when i started out at the Dodge dealership back in 1993, I got the crap job of tire changing, and chasing down electrical problems that you never make any money on, because the book rate back then didn't give much diagnosis time. They didn't do a lot of tires, but they just let me figure it out, and it wasn't brain surgery, but once you do it, you don't forget, because it will just click into your brain. I left the dealership to run a cemetery, and just fixed the same old junk over and over, at least your equipment is good, course that weld Dougo made, made the rig look poverty stricken lol. You guy's are all to funny. G-d bless.
Good video for a laugh. I wish you would purchase a tire inflating cage especially for big truck tires. When one of those explode on you while inflating you can have serious injuries or even be killed.

A little Larson humor for a Sunday morning.
Ok I give in. Doug is just too funny. 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another GREAT video, had me laughing so hard. When watching you 4 changing the tires. At least no fingers were lost in the filming of this video.

Always a good day with a Larson video
Should always take a wire wheel to around the rim bead area so there’s no leaking.
also good when Dougo stars in the video😂😂

LOL, Thank you for a Sunday morning laugh. As just a Part's guy, I've mounted hundreds of tire's on a machine like that.
That was so painful, watching you struggle with de-mounting the tire and then re-mounting the tire. But i'm glad you guys figured it out.
I’m no welder, but I can safely say, neither r u Doug 😉 well done on having a go 👍
I'm with the swede
Interesting that the unfrozen lake helps with the amount of snow at Amy n Dougoo's house.
Great stuff as usual 👏

Eric is correct!
A tire and rim is called a wheel assembly.
Doug the welding job on the step you made more traction so your boot won’t slip off when wet or icy good job!
Tyre machines are so easy to use i bought one for my shop and used it hundreds of times .
When the music starts I know there is gonna be good footage.

😅When Dougo says, " try gunning it slowly"
We saw this walk along the shore filming on their own channel. With his beautiful lady just muttering at him.

Cool video of Dougo down by the lake with the tractor , that would be a memory picture for the farm.
If you watch Amy's video from last week, she was in the house filming Dougo doing "youtube stuff" at the lake.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHET 😊
Love ride alongs with Dougo! Maybe practice on those shelves you attempted to make then weld on the truck step ?🤔🤷♂️
😂😂😂
This was so funny to watch when you mounted a couple of hound tires.

Diner time right now in Hungary so i’m going to watch this evening

Always change your valve stem when putting on a new tire
Good one.....soapy water when putting tires together....just seen it done....party on Dougo
Omg you need someone to come teach you it is real easy
I was yelling at the phone. Thanks for the fun lol
I’m with Eric on the tire and rim deal!
Great video guys. And some great comments. I’ve changed a few tires on similar machines. Without googling. I must say it’s been some crazy weather..
6:25 The water looks perfect to go on
Dougo on the intro... hilarious!!
Very funny. Can’t wait for planting!!
Glad to see you got some good moisture
when welding aluminum, heat the welding area with torch before welding to help the flow and prevent cooling to fast.
Well that was nerve racking. Glad you all kept you fingers.
It would be easier to send someone to a tire shop for a day to learn from a professional. May I suggest Brodie, since he is pretty detailed oriented.
Hey Dougo, get the right app and program your phone to open and close the garage doors.
Oh man. A learning process for sure.
I did over 300 motorcycle tires one summer in the shop. Got to be real good at it as you guys will also.
Dougo your hilarious loved the welding job you did on the step a little grinding and it will be fine

"It will buff out!"....😂
Great video guys. I'm sure tire guys were getting anxious! Lol!
Wow you got snow we got heat wave and chances of rain an storms here in Indiana and it’s August here.
Priceless! 💪👍🏼
This is hilarious!😂 cool video 👍❤️
Enjoying the best entertainment at lunch hour.
You guys are good at many things. Using that machine ain't one of them.
I used a tire machine like that one during high school. It was slowly coming back to me as you guys were leaning how to use it.
Keep Farming Guys! Leave the tire repair to the professionals !😉🌹🇺🇸👍😜
When I was 15, my first job working in a gas station. I fixed flats and it was not too difficult to take the tire on and off with the machine. Use a lot of lube.
If you have a nice rim grab it the more secure way. Most tires can grab from inside.
Poor Dougo, can almost hear the disgust & disappointment in his voice….Look away 😂

B.S. is correct. Rim+ tire = wheel! 😂
Clamps go on the inside the rim on the tyre machine and red dot is opposite the valve stem
