This was helpful. I got my mani de orula done three months ago and I have been super lost on how to care for my elegua and guerreros. It’s confusing but these videos have been helping so much! Please never stop! ❤️ Aseeeee
My father told me that we spit rum not only cause they like but cause it cleans the area. Then smoke to build a bridge. So we cleanse the area and the build a bridge before we open
iboru iboya ibosheshe thank you baba for taking your time to pass down knowledge very simply for everyone to understand. Can u do a video on Oshun Yumu ?
Could you please do segment on Ewe, and the different herbs that are appropriate for each Orisha. I understand some of the info is for priests only, but just the things that are appropriate for aleyos to know. Also info on the spiritual societies that deal w Ewe.
Is it appropriate and okay to blow rum on Eleggua AFRA? Or does he only take Red wine ? I would really appreciate a helpful response. Thank you for this video
The restrictions for the “Family of Babalu Aye” as its known really reflect upon him and his taboos, one of which being “water”. For this reason coconut water is primarily used in appeasement. Another ingredient used as a staple are various types of wine. I am not aware of different types of liquors being taboo, but when in doubt refer to your elders.
Bendiciones!
Iboro Iboya Ibosheshe, I take Elegua to the beach every Monday and I dress him with corojo & too him with corn, & fish. I’ve been washing him down with water after I feed him, is that ok to do?
Specific prayers or incantations are usually utilized by priests, otherwise invoking from the heart is more than sufficient. Traditional practice says Eshu is cleaned once a year on the persons Ifa or Orisha Festival.
Omg I've struggled with this...this helps so much...I will try it
lol not say bye Esu. I love that you make us laugh in your videos.
Iboru! That sense of humour is EVERYTHING! Keep it going brother!
