We literally have the same hair and I only did grew my hair for a year back in 2019 and trimmed it super short and here I am back again trying to grow my hair longer than before and seeing this video gives me rough idea on how year 2 of growing phase looks like. Thanks for the update man! Cheers!
Congrats on keeping with it. I'm doing a grow out for the first time at 45! I'm at 11 months. Been challenging! Much more so than I expected! Looking good bro! I'm right behind ya!
Subscribed ! I just moved to the south and starting my hair journey with the same type of hair.. I'm looking for humidity tips now so I'll be prepared lol
Hey man love the way the hair is growing. Currently been growing my hair for about 4 months and I got curly hair too. When growing out your hair do you have to line up the sides and back because the back keeps growing down my neck like a mullet and I don’t like that. Or do you just let it grow with no haircuts?
Hey there! This video inspires me (I have curly hair too!) I'm 7 months in and I'm trying to change my hairstyle. I used to comb my hair to the side but now that its longer I really want to push it back, is there any technique you used to like "tame" your hair back? Lol
Check out my “First year hair growth- tips/tricks” video. I cover a lot of this. Also my other videos on hair will be helpful to you. Basically to tame mine back I would push it back as soon as it became long enough to with hair gel and hairspray and hats and then after a while it naturally would go back and I could quit the harsh gels/hairsprays and hats because those things long term are not good for your hair. Thanks for the comment! Check out those videos 👍🏼
Thanks for adding your videos. My hair is thick and curly too. You give me hope. I have the ultra combo. Anglo-Irish/Indian. I have the thick hair from the jndian and the ultra curls from the Anglo Irish side. It’s the perfect storm. I started with an undercut. The top of my hair actually has about 7-8 inches already and I’m 4 months into the rest. I am fully into early awkward phase, but thanks for giving me tips. What products do you use? Shampoo, conditioner, and styling ?
Thanks Patrick! I appreciate the words. I don’t shampoo, I make my own hair rinse out of apple cider vinegar, purified water and lavender and tea tree oils. I put it in a squirt bottle and clean the top part of my hair and scalp with it once a week or as needed. Otherwise I condition or use a homemade hair mask pretty much daily to keep moisture. I’ll do a video on all of this soon. My hair mask is made from food. As far as conditioner, I’m in the process of experimenting with other natural alternative options to conditioner but as of up to this point I just try to find conditioners made from the most natural ingredients possible to answer it simply
I don’t highlight it or add anything to it for color. It’s all natural actually, ha. Product wise. I’m a minimalist. I wash my hair with apple cider vinegar and lavender/tea tree oil once a week. I condition mostly daily. The only staple product for me daily is a natural leave in conditioner and hair oil
How long did it take you to be able to start slicking your hair back again? I recently shaved my head for the first time in 10 years and I’ve always had long hair like Bradley cooper with waves and longer but not too long. Super upset I shaved my head now!
I’ve definitely felt obsessed many times and even to the point of being paranoid and having bad dreams about it being cut lol But never really scared other than just not knowing how it would turn out. The awkward phases are never ending it seems but the good hair days make up for it
I’ve done the long beard before. It looks good with the shaved sides and topknot I think and I’ll do that again when I finish with long hair. I haven’t decided if I want to do long beard and long hair yet. That’s a lot of hair
That’s the reality with curly/wavy hair. If your hair is straight then it’ll look longer. If you don’t get any trims at all then obviously that’s longer but your hair will be damaged. I got 3 very small trims just to be lean dead ends within my first 2 yrs

This is so cool. Finally finding someone with the same curly hair as me gets me excited to keep continuing on growing my hair out
Awesome bro!

Yep. Almost four years in now :)
I used to do this kind of thing regularly...but after much of my hair abandoned me, I was no longer able to do so.

I just hit 5 months today I wanna cut it but man I also want it long
what hair products do you use? And do you dye your hair (as it looks like some hightlights?) Thanks for this great stimulating upload

I think 1 year is the ideal long
Did you ever feel insecure and scared about growing your hair or obsessed with growing it? I felt these things when i grew after cutting it short.

@@The_Jedi Can totally relate. Thought I was the only one who had those dreams lmao
Bro , is your hair a 2c type ?
Oh my fuck. It's James Hetfield!
Igual o meu
Now all you gotta do is grow out the beard to see how it looks long for same amount of years

@@The_Jedi lot of hair but would make a badass vid lol
Wara or side Park
Капец за 2 года волосы медленно росли,у меня за год такая шевелюра отрастет
Thats all your 2years waiting just only on your neck?
