Don't ever admit you don't know who Wu Tang is in public. GZA (pronounced Jiz-ah). Your next homework assignment is to learn all the members of Wu Tang, all the solo albums the put out. Start building up a new playlist of respectable and influential rappers.
The fact that you don't know who these legends are, the fact that this music was recorded before you were born... but you still recognize the talent, the intelligence, the substance and the power: respect.
This video contains 2 songs, first beat is shadowboxin and the second beat it's called 4th chamber.... Fun fact Wu-tang is the biggest brand in hip hop and one of the biggest in music... You go anywhere in the world and you will see people rocking their gear..... You should go down the Wu Tang rabbit hole a lot of great music the group and the solo projects of their members you have at least 20 good albums to react to
You're young bro. Don't let these people bother you. You're learning. I'm glad you can see the genius artistry that wutang brought to the world. It's important to listen to this
Yo bro, damn who get mad. Authentic reactions is the best reactions. These dudes thats shocked you dont know some dudes that came out before you was born the ones tripping. Authenticity the highest vibration.
This is Shadowboxin/4thChamber. Video version only. Two different songs mixed together for the one video. Shadowboxin song is Gza feat. Method Man and 4th Chamber is Gza feat. Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest, and Rza. Both songs are from the Gza-Liquid Swords album. Very dope album. Don't sleep. Rappers in video order Method Man, Gza, (Shadowboxin) then Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest, Rza (4th Chamber). Not sure why they did the video with two songs. maybe two different videos wasn't in the budget. But the video is dope either way. Glad you decided to educate yourself to the "Wu". Better late than ever. But you have a long way to go young man. Never seen a video of yours before, and hopefully I will see you seek out more gems like this. It will benefit you. trust. Peace to all, and stay safe
@iamking, whats up young bro, im from NYC, about 50, wu-tang my family- ❤ your reactions and u learning and listening to some of the best rap songs ever made from the greatest group of any genre. Even the Beatles broke up, wu-tang never have they’re forever.
The Gza talks real shit… the first guy is method man!!! He is very intellectual… you have to listen to his whole album… especially the song called b.i.b.l.e. Or basic instructions before leaving earth… and the guy in the 3rd verse is ghostface kills… he is also super raw
"bro is speaking to my brain". Exactly! Great way to put that. I think the Rza just gets you in a headlock with that beat so you can't look away and then any of the Wu Mcs can come through with the real message.
Salute to you, young man. I love watching the young generation tap in to past generations of Hip Hop. You’ll learn plenty just by doing these reactions. Keep it pushing bro
You gotta listen to some old school Krs-one… he will definitely educate you… krs is one of the founders of hip hop… real talk… and his shit will have you like whoa
I think the line you mentioned at 7:20 is Ghostface’s line where he says “I slap box with Jesus, lick shots at Joseph..” A line like that was raw AF at the time. Very few creating that type of imagery.
Ayyye I love it youngin.. you are experiencing the same feeling, we felt when the WU and the Killah Bees stung us. Bro Book a trip to Las Vegas soon they will have their residency come February.. the Best show on the planet. WUFIREVA!! ✌🏾
The One hundred and forty four thousand are the chosen people to fight against the devil in God's army in the final war before judgement day it's crazy to think when me and my friends were teenagers back then we had songs like this teaching us something and kids nowadays don't have anything remotely this intelligent to listen too.
So I'm probably the whitest mofo there is but GZA is my Jam!!!! I can spit all those bars ❤❤ I haven't heard this in probably ten years but all the lyrics are still in the membrane 😂✌
You don’t need to know how to pronounce everyone’s name. You got it on a deep level. You made that clear by your closing comments. Thanks for the video.
It’s never too late nor too soon to learn about Wu. If you haven’t heard GZA-B.I.B.L.E ft. Killa Priest(the one sitting on the throne) Find it and listen…like right now! Right after that check GZA-Queens Gambit🔥🔥🔥 Peace!
Oh. Bruh. I was gonna ask you to do this in your C.R.E.A.M. reaction that I was about to go watch... and then I saw you did it already. Well done. The whole Liquid Swords album is a must listen eargasm for any lover of hip-hop, plain and simple. And nobody says "Gee zee ay". It's "Jiz-ah", plain and simple. Also, the "Why did Judas rat to the Romans while Jesus slept?" sounded familiar because the music video includes the 4th Chamber that you reacted to from the album two weeks before this.
I was never a big Wu-Tang fan, but I am very familiar with them because my friends would play them all the time. Raekwon was my favorite from them but I cannot deny that Method Man had the best flow. By the way he was the first rapper.
This is how we learned back in the day. Their music is powerful knowledge. When you outgrow religion (no shade ) this music will be valuable to you, no cap. I went thru the same thing. I wish I would’ve paid attention more then what was on the radio…the life lessons they taught me would have aided me in my 20s
You young people are so cute! It’s pronounced Jizz-ah. Wu-Tang is what rap should aspire to be. Raw talent meets good production quality. There needs to be no more auto-tuning and no more mumble rapping. We love them so much we named our German Shepherd RZA (rizz-ah). Wu-Tang is a whole experience. Keep it up!
the first 2 verses in the vid is "shadowboxing" method man then gza "jiza". the beat change is actually a whole different song "gza-4th chamber" featuring ghostface killah, killah priest and rza. gza's verse was cut, it would've been at the end.
I have so many requests for you! All of Enter the Wu (36 Chambers). And if you like Wu, you may like Mobb Deep. I can almost guarantee you've heard at least one of their tracks (Shook Ones Pt. II). The Infamous is a classic album. Almost every track is hot fire. I recommend Survival Of The Fittest, Eye for an Eye, Give Up The Goods off that album. On Hell on Earth, my jams are Drop a Gem on 'Em, G.O.D. Pt. III, Hell on Earth. Their subject matter is pretty heavy but the East Coast in the 90s was top notch. Nas' It Was Written (The Message, Affirmative Action, If I Ruled the World) was amazing too. SO many classics.
The first one was Method Man..... second one was Gza (pronounced Jiza) , third one is Ghostface Killah, fourth one is Killah Priest, fifth one is Rza (pronounced Riza)
You didn't seem to peep that the second half was 4th Chamber that u recently reacted to. Thought the "leave em split like ass cheeks" part would've made u catch it
Young King. Do yourself a favor and watch a documentary on the Wu Tang Clan. This will allow you to know all of the members by name and why they are noted to be the most impactful group in hip hop. You would also understand why they are STILL considered the most impactful hip hop group next to Public Enemy. To add a response to your comment about Gen Z music in comparison to Gen X music. The modern music has a dumbing down effect. It has been figured out and used for the purpose of perpetuating a mindless response. Just to trigger a deadpan feeling, almost like an opiate. Music can inspire love, anger, happiness, and sadness. It can also trigger a docile mood or a confrontational mood. It can promote fratricide, or it can direct you toward a different enemy. Today's music promotes fraticide, and it does not inspire its listeners to think about their condition of life. Its hypnotic property lulls people to sleep, destructive behavior, or at least it desensitizes young folks to not want to consider changing conditions for the better. It lacks a lot in the production and this adds to the degenerative hypnotic property that feeds the brain frequency on a low vibration. This is a large amount of today's music....NOT ALL, but a lot of it.

4th chamber was the b-side to the Shadowboxin single, so they did a joint video. GZA directed it himself.
