Amtrak Rear Ride - Rocky Mount, NC (RMT) to Petersburg, VA (PTB)

Here we are riding on the rear of Amtrak Carolinian Train 80 between Rocky Mount, NC (RMT) and Petersburg, VA (PTB). During the Thanksgiving holiday, Amtrak wanted to increase capacity on the Carolinian trains. The service track in Charlotte can only fit a 7-car consist and thus a coach was added and the baggage removed. This allowed the rare opportunity to see and film from the back window between Rocky Mount and Petersburg.

Best part, the long trestle at Weldon. Imagine someone taking a walk on it and midway Amtrak comes at 79 mph
