There should be endeavour and eagerness to study Ahom history extensively, since Ahom history has not been fully explored fully till today.
History is still mute about many things - about the Borboruas, about the Lekharus, about the Chiringphukons, about the Hiloidharis and so on.
Hope in the recent future, the inquisitive historians will let us know in souvenirs and in history books at least the jurisdiction of the Borbaruas(as the jurisdiction of the Barbaruas lay in Upper Assam) and the jurisdiction of the Borphukons lay in Lower Assam.
In-depth history of Assam during the Ahom reign has not been fully explored.

It's sad to see some hate comments towards Tai Ahoms. But this fact cannot be denied that, if Ahoms would not have been there, northeast would have gone to Mughals. Yes Chaopha Chaolung Sukapha came from a different province, but at that time there were no definitive international boundaries. The whole Indo-Myanmar landscape was a single landmass and the communities were also somewhat of same genetic stock. And if we look at history, every kingdom annexed to certain areas where a particular community had been residing and they had to suffer. So peace brothers, love and respect to all the kingdoms.
