That was a fantastic video. The ending made me feel bad because at the part between 1:57 - 2:26 I thought it did bare resemblance to "Duke the lost engine". Then the Thomas faces showed up, & finally you brought up the "Stop Thomasification". I couldn't help but give a chuckle at first 'cause I was joking, but as I said, I felt bad because it's sad but true. Sometimes when we think of trains, 1/2 of us think of Thomas. Now Thomas aside, I thought the handling of a narrow gauge engine was cute & great. Like how you used the carts as slate wagons, with the exception of 1 as a tender for Chuggy with the bundle of sticks for fire and the barrel for water. And how you scaled the other railway rolling stock down was amazing, I was wondering something like that could be done in SFM. Overall, great video.
I love that it's a tiny Old West railway with the occasional British wagon for no reason. & the fact that half the mainline trains are also British! The TS Falmouth Dock Tank sound affects really finish it off, the high, single-tone whistle just sounds right for this kind of loco.
TTTE has become so popular that it has become a virus to all trains. Please sub to this amazing animator to stop thomification once and for all. And maybe check out the 4449 instead. Thats a popular yet awsome looking one.
After seeing this a lot, it gave me inspiration and made me think about how Chuggy would be one of few that were built as a tram while the first of its design were built without the tram modification, although i can't do animations in sfm, i like telling the story through the images and posters, the inspiration this video gave me is basically following your idea but having the engine without the tram modifications working where the payloads would be constructed at and then delivers them to their designated places, the little engine would also have mine carts on its train at times depending on if they are needed as props, although the engine hopes to make them useful in another way as part of a train since it would sometimes have help from an engine that is a part of a payload as its engine with a flatbed in tow, it does have a crossing where the standard gauge would pass, but the line they use is barely used because of the more modern main line so it is more peaceful for the engines that run the narrow gauge line, the name of the little engine and the payload engine of the line are basically Carter and Chomper with Chomper being the obvious one for the payload engine while carter is because the little engine would deliver payload carts while Chomper would be shunting as to help things run smoothly. I do also agree with the whole stop thomification aspect since almost every loco/engine are being made into Thomas characters with faces and bright colours, but if that's what people want to do, then that's up to them, it leads one way and another in the end. Also the names i gave to the little engines came to my mind when typing this message as i would look at the name Chuggy and think of names that fit that category with Chomper and Carter seemingly fits as it doesn't stray from what they are and do. Anyways, loving the vids and here's hoping Chuggy can be freed from thomification as faceless engines have lives too with Chuggy here and Ivor the engine being examples. One like = One Prayer
fun fact: the thomas at strasbourg was converted from a saddle tank to have side tanks instead. a similar thing happened on the watercress line involving another saddle tank.
I love this. Crossover between beloved kid show and great game. Chuggy left in the shed for several years is so similar to Duke's story from Thomas. And the ending was creepy. Good work pal, keep it up !

It's 2 foot gauge. Primarily used for industrial, excursion and in rare cases backyard lines. A logging company would probably use something bigger, but a tree farm might use something this size.

Not gonna lie, It would be quite terrifying to be a train, then your smokebox gets a crappy face just to be a tourist attraction, and isn't removed again. Poor Chuggy, I can't believe I could actually feel bad for a little train
pretty sure for most locomotives the face is only a temporary thing, the trains are not painted up 24/7 just for a couple weeks and then the face is removed and they are painted in original colors again. it's kinda cringe, but at the same time it is a disgustingly lucrative way to make the much needed money to keep heritage rails running.
As a Thomas fan and real life American Railfan, I’ll admit I do hate Thomification. I know in the UK it’s temporary (as far as I’m aware), and in the states we build our own “Dummy” units, but some weren’t so lucky and permanently ARE Thomas. Take BEDT (Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal) 15 here in the states, she mainly worked at dock yards in New York. Eventually she was retired and after multiple preservation railways (I know that’s not the term here in the states but it sounds cool so), finally found her way to Strasburg. After multiple test they found that it couldn’t make the run from East Strasburg to Leaman Place or Paradise Junction. So now they had the only operational BEDT saddle tank and locomotive in general with nothing to do with her. In the same year, Britt Alcroft began to film scenes for TATMR (Thomas and the Magic Railroad) because she loved the N&W M classes and coincidentally, Strasburg had an operational one, 475. After filming, Britt suggested they make a Thomas for DOWT events. Strasburg knew that that was perfect for little old 15. So they converted her into a Thomas model, and from there, she became the only Steam powered Thomas in the states. Of course, it was very VERY controversial, but Strasburg thought it was worth it. I’m kinda mixed on it, on one hand I don’t like how they converted 15 into Thomas instead using their already made dummy unit, but on the other hand I’m grateful that 15 can operate in General. I’m sure there are multiple cases of this in the UK, given that Thomas is a British icon, like the locomotive Awdry made the official Thomas the tank engine in real life, so I’d definitely love to here about them. But yea I’d say I’m in the Stop Thomification army.
The end lf tne video is the perfect representation of every Day Out with Thomas ever. Converting one engine to yes, look like thomas, okay sure its a bit messed up but at least they did a good job of it looking like thomas, but then the rest are like, “who the hell are these people, and why does the diesel have a round face?”
