If you think about this is the way Roland suggest with the Jazz Chorus amp line. Chorus at the end, after everything. I honestly prefer this kind of setup to have a wide stereo sound, but for keeping both choices I always put a chorus pedal before delays and reverb. With V3 you can choose different routing using patch cables if I remember well
@@TheSpaceGuitar on the Roland JC amps, is the onboard chorus after or before the effects loop? And is the onboard chorus before or after the onboard reverb?
@@TheSpaceGuitar the v3 chorus has more controls/features, which I appreciate. I always like analogue circuits for modulation effects, but older style modulation effects often have too limited controls for my liking; because without sufficient controls, modulation effects can sound over the top (e.g. vintage style Phase 90). The Boss CE-2 is a rare exemption to that rule: with just two knobs it still sounds great.
This is very Lush just out of the box, it uses different chips so its a slight different flavour. It’s power it’s in the combination of the effects, Chorus vs chorus I still prefer other chorus but I’m glad to have it!
Yep. They have a great youtube channel, also. Look up their 'visual sound op amp myths' video. They take their version of the tube Screamer and swap the 4558 op amp out with a bunch of others to compare them and show that the 4558 is nothing special and doesnt affect how the pedal sounds.
V1 is better than the other two version. More real.
I agree.
I like the V2 footswitches
V2 it’s the most recognisable but the Echo is barely perceivable. Possibly my favorite is V1
Cool history and comparison!👍
Thanks my friend, appreciate your comment as usual!
Subbed! 👍
Thanks mate
I have the V3, great value for the money.
I agree. In the end I prefer V1. Please subscribe mate
I always thought it odd how they routed delay into chorus with these pedals instead of chorus into delay. 🤷♂️ What are your thoughts on that?

If it works for Eric Johnson it works for me. I got this pedal to emulate his clean sound.
That's a lovely looking guitar! 👌😊
Thanks mate
I own the v3 one. I also had the v2 Liquid Chorus in single pedal form.
How do you rate the single V2 Chorus compared to the V3 pedal?

Very nice comparison, I you havent tried the Seymour Duncan Catalina chorus you should. Ive tried many and its the best short of a real CE-1 imo
You are not the first to suggest me to try the Catalina chorus. It’s really time to do it, mate, thanks
@@TheSpaceGuitar You wouldnt be disappointed in fact you might not want to use anything else
@@shckltnebay this pedal is quite expensive, cannot find it second hand… I’ll buy one for sure. Any thoughts about the Vapor Trail delay?

Do you happen to know the value of the resistor R2 in version 1 H2O? Mine was removed and modded and i want to return to stock.
I sold the pedals and I can’t help you but online there are the schematics of the H2O
@TheSpaceGuitar I've looked online but I'm not seeing any schematics for the H20. Do you have a link to one?
Anyone know if the V2 has trails?
No trails. Please subscribe
Is Truetone and Visual Sound the same company????
Yes mate, exactly the same company
