Welcome home, will pray for you and your family. I am cradle catholic was away from church for over 20 years, going to various denominations. But the holy spirit led me back home. I know go to mass 3 times a week, do eucharistic , and have had God speak to me. My wife who was methodist also came into the catholic church ,after she heard God tell her to come into his church...godbless
"Alot of protestants assume it's not the same because they have never looked at the evidence". Yes! It is said, "To read the church father's is to cease to be Protestant". That was my own conversion in a nutshell.
If you're not Catholic, you assume that that person must be a Protestant. I am a follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I am a Christian. If only Catholics were Christians but they're not. You belong to the Church that says in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (number 841) that the "plan of salvation also includes...in the first place... the Muslims." How can this be? Muslims deny that Jesus is the Son of God they deny His death and resurrection and they do not believe Jesus is the Creator of the universe. Yet, the Catholic Church has granted salvation to the Muslims. Pretty sad isn't!? I'm sure you don't think so. You will believe anything the Catholic Church says. Back in 1985, Pope John Paul II told Muslim youth in Morocco that"Christians and Muslims have many things in common...we believe in the same God." Again that's a lie. Muslims call Jesus Christ a liar in their hearts everyday! Every year your Church sends greetings to the Muslims during Ramadan and to the Hindus and Buddhists during their so-called holy festivals. You belong to the Catholic church that called for "global Government" back in 2011. In the official Vatican document calling for a "World Public Authority," towards the end in the conclusion, it talks about nations giving up their power to the World Public Authority and that it is the "spirit of Babel" to bring humanity together as "one family." Your Church's "mission" is to [restore] and [bear] witness to the unity lost at Babel." Jesus said He didn't come to bring "peace" but a "sword." (i.e. division) And it begins with the family. (Ref. Matthew 10:34- 36) So, your Church is trying to bring worldwide peace which is the plan of the Antichrist!!! You belong to the Church that believes in the "redistribution of wealth" across the planet. This is from the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. It also says that "wealth exist to be shared" and "any accumulation of wealth is immoral." This is coming from the Catholic Church that's worth billions. Your Church is working with big business to reframe capitalism with some of the largest companies in the world. Did you know any of this??? You really need to ask yourself, is this the Church that Jesus founded, or is it the Church of the Antichrist? The latter, not the former, is the answer.
Frankly, they could care less about the historic Church. They follow the Protestant religion, and that means interpreting the Bible according to a very narrow and often faulty set of presuppositions.
18:32 "The idea that the Holy Spirit would lead two people to different conclusions is such a mockery of God." Bingo! And yet that is the justification for the the thousands of protestant churches cropping up everyday.
And you may say to let a human being on earth have the power of absolution and to Crucify Christ at the Eucharist week after week makes a mockery of Jesus single act of Redemption….. why a puppet speaking blasphemous words seeking to change times and Laws is warned against over and over in Revelation. The grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be upon All the World. Amen
@@docJamesE1318 Jesus Christ himself gave the power of absolution to His apostles and their spiritual descendants (the bishops and priest). It would be a mockery to tell Jesus that He can't do that. Please study more about the Catholic mass. It is obvious by your statement that you do not understand. Catholics do NOT crucify Christ again and again as you accuse.

A great talk today.. I will have to get that book..As a former Anglican I always wondered about all these English Church of England Churches I visited for Services . They have the Saints Name some of which are local Saints names who came here to Britain to convert people in the early Catholic period 1000 years Pre reformation. I have seen them with the Appostles Creed Displayed, even little Nods to Mary with a Small Marian Figurine, they have Biblical Stained Glass. A lot of these Churches are Pre Reformation such as Norman or even Saxon and I was always left thinking these used to be Catholic Churches. The Reformation stripped them of Frecoes, Saints Statues etc. But the Catholic Church is always present in the shadows of these Churches . I found my faith came fully alive when I prayed the Rosary and intercession of the Saints that's why I became Catholic because God called me there
Sadly, and in connection with your observation of Church building origins, the two cathedrals in Dublin, Christchurch and, believe it or not, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, have been under Protestant occupation since Ireland was invaded by England. An matter that really disturbed me is the Relic, the heart of St. Lawrence O’Toole, once Archbishop of Dublin (an ancestor or mine) is locked in an iron cage in Christchurch Cathedral. The Church of England, King Henry VIII’s church, knows no shame as they continue possessing those Buildings, and many more.
At the age of 24, I left Islam and now as 28 years old have spent the past four years as an agnostic. However, I hold deep respect and admiration for Christians and feel drawn to exploring Catholicism further. I hope to find truth and meaning in this journey❤😊
I really feel sorry for Protestants who are living and the dead who have not received Jesus Christ through the Eucharist. This opportunity was stolen from them by Martin Luther.
Right, Mike. Luther (1517) caused more harm than any other 'reformist.' And reading his books, I was really shocked by his anti semitism. Suppose he was born around 1910 he would be the right hand of Heinrich Himmler.
@Mike Anderson Mike, Excellent point! The harm this man caused by his disobedience, inspired by the chief disobedient Satan, is inimaginable. So many souls lost forever. Hopefully, the poor ignorant got a reprieve in Purgatory. God bless.
You are right! As a convert to The Church, the first time I was allowed to partake of the Eucharist was the most amazing spiritual experience in my life!! I feel sorry for those that have never had the chance to receive The Body and Blood of our Lord in the Eucharist!!
This is mind blowing. Real good stuff Keith. As a cradle Catholic who once converted to Pentecostal, I could relate much to it. That conversion to a protestant church motivated me to research and know more about the Catholic Church. Eventually, I returned home to the Catholic faith with more knowledge and reverence to the one true Church that our Lord Jesus established through St. Peter, the rock. God bless you.
Wow!!. That's what happened to me also. As an ignorant catholic I became Mormon, and thanks to that I started reading the Bible and the Apostólic Fathers to find out that the Catholic Church is the Church Jesus established.
@Mikael335 No. I don't think so. There is a biblical True Church. The one God established in Pentecost.. Is the ONLY Godly Church established by God in the history of the world

St Paul said let your "yes" be "yes" and let your "no" be "no" The apostles said to Jesus that they had seen a man casting out demons in his name and had tried to prevent him because he was not on their team, but Jesus told them not to do such a thing because "whoever is not against us is for us."
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Protestants by nature are Deconstructionists, and that's why they are all about throwing rocks at a cathedral. Catholics are civilization builders and focus on building the cathedral and not throwing rocks at it.

When a person believed in Christ, he had a high chance of being persecuted. He had to choose between life and death. The price is immense. Now, there is little consequence.
Look at history,, the founder of the Catholic church is Jesus Christ. The became the church before the Bible was written. Jesus appointed the apostles to preach, forgive sin, and to perform baptisms. All the apostles were Catholic. Jesus appointed Peter to run his church on earth and what ever laws he placed on earth were placed in heaven. Jesus and Mary were the new Eve and Adam. Jesus had to perish for the sins of Adam and Eve. Empires had been destroyed and the church has survived it all over 2000 years. The first protestant church was not even thought of until a Catholic priest had fallen in love with a nun and both were excommunicated from the church. Even Martin Luther himself, still believed in the one true church when he died. All the church fathers and early Christians were followed the Catholic way.

That's wonderful event may happen in other Protestant churches, too. But today's ecumenism, which I reject, does the opposite. The Remnant Newspaper's Editor Michael Matt visited an Anglican Church in Walsingham, England. Naturally, he expected the Anglican liturgy. But a woman there told him that they use the Novus Ordo rite of Mass instead because it's compatible with their, Protestant, theology. I remember when taking my Biblical Christianity 101 Class... We got to talking about both how the various Books of the Bible & the Bible as a whole, and even how it related to the Quran. Specifically, how the early Christians would Copy, Preserve, and Pass on the Scriptures. Essentially, if someone reading this is unaware, there would be the drafting phase of the New Testament books... Then the final draft, would get Copied out some Twenty Times. And then, each copy would be checked against the orginal and all the Copies. Any errors would usually be Burned. This would happen when making new Standard copies were created. That is, new copies of the Bible's used as sources for new books. The originals would then, after making Certain that they had copied every letter properly, the original would be Destroyed. And destroyed, so that someone couldn't come along later, and say that They had the true orginal Bible books! And thusly lead followers astray. We compared it with the Quran. The history of which, basically demonstrated why what the early Christians did, was the correct call. Long story short, within a couple centuries of Muhammad.. There's one (Sultan?) who declares that his copy is the one true copy, and destroys virtually every other copy that might gainsay him. _(They didn't really spread the Quran around prior to that time, as it was supposedly a restricted book beforehand)_ ...... In relation to the video.... This looks like one could think that the Catholic Church is attempting to claim that They're the Only True Christian Church. But after each one began think that those whom he had baptized were his own and not Christ's, it was decreed for the whole world that one of the priests should be elected to preside over the others, to whom the entire care of the church should pertain, and the seeds of schism would be removed. If someone thinks that this is our opinion, but not that of the Scriptures-that bishop and priest are one, and that one is the title of age, the other of his duty-let him reread the apostle's words to the Philippians when he says, "Paul and Timothy, slaves of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons, grace to you and peace," and so on. Philippi is a single city in Macedonia, and at least in one city several were not able to be bishops, as they are now thought. But because at that time they called the same men bishops whom they also called priests, therefore he has spoken indifferently of bishops as if of priests. This may still seem doubtful to someone unless it is proven by another testimony. In the Acts of the Apostles it is written that when the apostle came to Miletus, he sent to Ephesus and summoned the priests of that church to whom later he said among other things, "Watch yourselves, and the whole flock in which the Holy Spirit appointed you bishops to feed the church of God, which he acquired through his own blood." And observe here very carefully how, by summoning the priests of the single city of Ephesus, later he has spoken of the same men as bishops. If anyone wants to receive that epistle which is written in Paul's name to the Hebrews, even there care for the church is shared equally by many. For indeed he writes to the people, "Obey your leaders, and be in subjection; for they are the ones who watch over your souls, as those who will give a reckoning. Let them not do this with sighing; for indeed this is advantageous to you." And Peter, who received his name from the firmness of his faith, speaks in his own epistle and says, "As a fellow priest, then, I plead with the priests among you, and as a witness of Christ's sufferings, I who am a companion also of his glory that is to be revealed in the future, tend the Lord's flock that is among you, not as though by compulsion but voluntarily." These things [have been said] in order to show that to the men of old the same men who were the priests were also the bishops; but gradually, as the seed beds of dissensions were eradicated, all solicitude was conferred on one man. Therefore, just as the priests know that by the custom of the church they are subject to the one who was previously appointed over them, so the bishops know that they, more by custom than by the truth of the Lord's arrangement, are greater than the priests. And they ought to rule the Church commonly, in imitation of Moses who, when he had under his authority to preside alone over the people of Israel, he chose the seventy by whom he could judge the people. Augustine- "Peter, called after this rock, represented the person of the Church which is built upon this rock, and has received the keys of the kingdom of heaven.' For, Thou art Peter and not Thou art the rock' was said to him. But 'the rock was Christ, in confessing whom, as also the whole Church confesses, Simon was called Peter." John Chrysostom - "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church'; that is, on the faith of his confession." " First, concerning the cup: We give thanks to you, our Father, for the holy vine of David your son, which you made known to us through Jesus your son, glory to you forever a Next, concerning the broken bread: We give thanks to you, our Father, for the life and knowledge which you made known to us through Jesus your son, glory to you forever b4 Just as this broken bread was being scattered over the mountains and being brought together it became one; likewise bring together your church from the ends of the earth into your kingdom, so that yours is the glory and the power through Jesus Christ forever cs But none shall eat or shall drink from your Eucharist but those baptized in the name of the Lord; for also concerning this the Lord has said, "Do give not what is holy to the dogs." The Didache (AD 100): “On the Lord’s day assemble and break bread and give thanks, having first confessed your sins, that your sacrifice may be pure. If any have a dispute with his fellow, let him not come to the assembly till they be reconciled, that your sacrifice be not polluted. For this is the sacrifice spoken of by the Lord; ‘In every place and at every time offer to me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great king, said the Lord, and my name is wonderful among the Gentiles; (Mal. i. 11, 14).” This doesn’t refer to Jesus’ sacrifice, but to “your sacrifice.” The same Greek word for “sacrifice” (thusia) is used of Jesus’ sacrifice (Heb. 5:1), but it is also used of doing good deeds, praise, and financial giving (Heb. 13:15-16; Phil. 4:18). The same book also refers to the supper as the “cup” and the “bread,” and a means of remembering Jesus’ sacrifice in thanksgiving (Didache, 9). Irenaeus of Lyons (AD 180) stated that the elements do not lose the nature of bread and wine (Against Heresies, 4.18.4-5; 5.2.2). Tertullian (AD 200) said Jesus’ statement was figurative (Against Marcion, 3.19). Clement of Alexandria (AD 200) called the bread and wine symbols of Jesus’ body (The Instructor, I.6). Origen (AD 250) held his typical allegorical and spiritual view when referring to the elements in the Last Supper. Eusebius of Caesarea (AD 340) called the elements the body and blood of Christ, but also referred to them as symbolic of spiritual realities (On the Theology of the Church, 3.2.12). Augustine (AD 350) believed that John 6:53 should be understood spiritually and symbolically-not literalistically (On Christian Doctrine 3.16.2). Gelasius I (5th century pope): “The sacrament which we receive of the body and blood of Christ is a divine thing. Wherefore also by means of it we are made partakers of the divine nature. Yet the substance or nature of the bread and wine does not cease to be… Thus, as the elements pass into this, that is, the divine substance by the Holy Ghost, and none the less remain in their own proper nature.”
The Early Church is the Roman Catholic Church. The earthly church is still present on us it never went away. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And that the Church follows His founder.
my simple understanding of Catholicism is that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah he said that he didn't come to change the law Judaism but to fulfill it obviously he didn't start a new religion either but natural continuation of Judaism under the new covenant of his salvation for entire mankind. His first followers were all Jews and they started this new covenant in their respective synagogues of Jerusalem, Damascus, Antioch, Rome, Corinth, Smyrna, Hippo, Carthage etc. with the basic traditions like Tabernacle, Alter, Menohra, Priesthood etc. intact which can still be found only in Catholic Church. This simple historical facts simply suggest that the church Jesus established under the stewardship of Peter is the Catholic Church, simply there cannot be another.
@Darong Dazel Darong, Excellent point! Comparing the Old and New Covenant, Roy Schoeman, a Jewish convert says: "The only way to understand the relationship between the two covenants is to see that Judaism is nothing other than Pre-Messianic Catholicism, and that the Catholic Church is nothing other than Post-Messianic Judaism. We know that statement is true because in God there is continuity. The two are one and the same. God does not divorce nor change His Divine Mind about human beings. Men do. Just like Luther who mistrusted God and created the monster of protestantism with its thousands of divisions, in opposition of God's one Church, "the pillar and foundation of the truth", by inventing a new paradigm called "Bible alone", absent in the New Testament. God bless.
Jesus was never a jew. He was a Judean. Word jew was made up in the 19th or 20th century by the Talmudic people who wants to deceive the world thinking that they were part of Jesus patronage and will incite our sentiments for their false pretense that they were.being made a sacrifice because they were God's people.
Great point. In fact, Roy Schoeman, a Jewish convert says: "The only way to understand the relationship between the two covenants is to see Judaism as nothing other than pre-Messianic Catholicism and the Catholic Church as nothing other than post-Messianic Judaism."
Just by reading the title, I am already thinking of the two recent encyclicals from the Vatican (Chieti and Alexandria) that say the church for the first thousand years was synodal and not papal (not even getting into how that contradicts Vatican 1), but whats the argument after the Vatican itself clarifies the Papacy position is not true for the early church and Synodality was? Alexandria document is really explicit here, not ambiguous.
why do you invent things? - that is called lying - the authority of the bishop of Rome is already clear in the second century, in some few revealing texts that remain - you can read Ireneaus of Lyon, writting around 170-180: see the work Against the Heresies, Book III, 3: he explains that all churches must follow the teachings of the Church of Rome
@@silveriorebelo2920 so you are going to fully ignore what I wrote lol. not sure you read my comment, your own church says it was only the case lol. Have you read Chieti and Alexandria encyclicals? They very plainly teach there was no universal supremacy for the first thousand years. Also Constantinople 2 says Constantinople is the new Rome. Nicea 1 says that Rome is not to go beyond it's regions boundaries and has no authority outside of them, just like the other patriarchs and lays out the same. Not one mention of the supremacy in any council. This can go on and on, but I'm assuming you'll not address anything since you rely on quote mining and not your own churches teaching.
This is a quote from the most recent agreement : *Similarly, it is clear that for Roman Catholics synodality is not merely consultative, and for Orthodox primacy is not merely honorific.” Stop trying to misrepresent these documents for your own self pride. We need charity.

It always bothered me why the early Christians would accept Roman paganism. Then I realized not worrying about being burned at the stake and getting your land back sound like pretty good bait for the Romans trap.
How I know they are Catholic is because they are all my family. All the way back then. Those are our saints, our martyrs, our people, our popes, our heroes, our wise men and women, our traditions, our history. Our family is eternal. They exist now, today. We all belong to the same body of Christ. We All Love Our Mother Mary, present tense. We ask them to intercede for us. For our church. We not only have personal relationships with God the Father, with Jesus Christ Our Lord, with The Holy Spirit, with Our Blessed Queen of the Heavens Mary, mother of God. We have personal relationships with all our saints and special people of the faith. It’s like Pope John Paul II, he’s no longer on earth physically with us but he’s just as present, maybe even more, in our hearts. We all share the same heart, with every Pope, every father, every sister, we all talk to each other. We are the Catholic Church, All for one and one for all, always.
We are the communion of saints. The branches grafted to the vine of Christ. The church ascendant and the church militant. One above praying for us, one below fighting still the good fight.
I watched from another video that the early Christians grew massively aftr it became legalised and so structure and heirarchy were needed and that is how the Catholic church became so organised until today yet we are still in unison, our gospel readings, songs, sacraments and the eucharist are the same regardless where you are in the world.
The early church absolutely did not have the doctrine of Papal Infallibility when the pope speaks Ex Cathedra. St Gregory of Nyssa was a Universalist (later condemned as heresy), St Cyril was a Monophysite (later condemned as heresy), and basically everyone around 100 AD was a subordinationist (later condemned as heresy. The early chuch was autocephalous according to most scholars: the roman pontiff was highly respected, but he didn't have the supreme authority that was a later development. So no, the early church absolutely was not the same as the modern catholic church. Anyone claiming this is either ignorant or spreading misinformation.
You said they laugh when you explain Catholics were the first Christians. I tried explaining how Sola Scriptoria is unbiblical to a prot friend. I sent him several videos containing facts and he said "I think he's full of sh*t" It's like they just don't want to hear the Truth. I've been there, it's like I had blinders on.
I would speculate that Heaven itself is Catholic according to the authority Christ vested in Peter and the fact that throughout history Peter's authority and that of the Magisterium pertained. That the Reformation occurred some 500 years in the recent past could not alter that authority and structure. I would further speculate that Purgatory is actually made mostly for those who don't currently believe in it when they eventually transition so they can repent of their unwitting disobedience to Christ's command.

To claim that the RRC, with all of its trappings and doctrine, is the same as the early church is hisorically inaccurate. I have no argument with those who find themselves blessed by their involvement in the RCC. To say, however, that such doctrines as Papal Infallibility, Transubstantiation, Immaculate Conception, Assumption of Mary, etc. were part of the early church is ridiculous.
This is actually a very silly comment, for several reasons. On the one hand, all of those ideas were present to some extent in the early church. Transubstatiation especially is found quite clearly. Also, this video answers this kind of objection quite clearly as well! The Church has added things, but that is exactly what you would expect from any organization.
Me too ! How could anyone with any cursory knowledge of early church history come to any other conclusion. I mean it's written down and proved. If it is not true then who compiled the Scripture and destroy Heresies. Lol

I live in New Mexico where the Catholic religion is deep in many places. I live in one of those areas. It is strong here and quickly defended if any- thing is said against it. But what puzzles me to no end is why don't they defend the legality and establishment of the good news Jesus Christ & his 12 apostles began preaching and continued to spread throughout Asia even to the Islands just as Jesus Commanded them to do? They we're not Catholics but Jews, Israelites. His ministers were to go to the nation of Israel first. Wasn't this message of God's Kingdom the begin- ning of Christianity? I know the word ''Catholic'' means ''Universal,'' and is believed to be the one and only true religion, if this is so, why did it go astray from that assignment of preaching the good news as Jesus taught, advancing it even to the most distant part of the earth? Some where during the centuries after his death the Catholics didn't preach, at any time about the Kingdom Jesus emphatically told his followers, to carry out during his absence until he returns. A zealous Catholic wrote: '' For over 1900 years there has been only one Catholic denomi- nation. The Catholic church has its visible head his Holiness, the Pope whose proclamations on matters of faith and morals are infallible ..., throughout the world there is one Catholic Church!'' The only ones that are carrying out this command as I honestly see it is the JEHOVAH'S WITNESS religion, many are finding their way to the Kingdom of God! They are obeying the command Jesus instructed his disciples to work hard at doing and only they have spent over 1 BILLION hours a year in the witness work throughout the earth and on every Island of the world. The time is urgent and the end is approaching fast! The hour is nearing. " and this good news of the kingdom will be preach in all the inhabited earth for a ''witness'' to all the nations and then the end will come.'' Mt. 24:14; 28:19,20. Amen.
We have the Apostles Creed (70 AD) to clarify Christ's church (Catholics) from the heretics. Then the Nicene Creed to expand our beliefs for the same reasons. The language "Catholic and Apostolic Church" is in the Creeds. Done with arguement.
Hi Keith, I became Catholic Saturday night. Thanks for your conversion story, it helped get me started on my journey!

Welcome home, will pray for you and your family. I am cradle catholic was away from church for over 20 years, going to various denominations. But the holy spirit led me back home. Same here expect I started rcia last October and was baptized and confirmed on Easter 2023. You won’t regret it
"Alot of protestants assume it's not the same because they have never looked at the evidence". Yes! It is said, "To read the church father's is to cease to be Protestant". That was my own conversion in a nutshell.
Nice!!! Welcome home!!!
Woooooo welcome home
When I started reading the church fathers it was the same for me.
At present, there are TWO Protestants Religions PER DAY being founded in COMMIE-FORNIA alone.

I found my faith came fully alive when I prayed the Rosary and intercession of the Saints that's why I became Catholic because God called me there
Thank you so much! God bless you Alberto

The term Catholic originated in late first century. Bishop Ignatius of Antioch showed its use in 107AD while being taken to Rome by orders of Emperor Trajan to be killed in the Roman Circus by lions.
Here is a part of his letter to the Church at Smyrna:

"Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude [of the people] also be; even as, wherever JESUS CHRIST is, there is THE CATHOLIC CHURCH".

While he learned about its liturgies, he added ancient practices into his services , became a Catholic, and led his parishioners into the Catholic Church.
Now you know one of many reasons why I always attend the Traditional Latin Mass instead of the Novus Ordo, which an acquaintance of mine calls "the American one." Catholics attend the Novus Ordo. But it's for another religion.

_(They didn't really spread the Quran around prior to that time, as it was supposedly a restricted book beforehand)_
......
In relation to the video....
This looks like one could think that the Catholic Church is attempting to claim that They're the Only True Christian Church. Or something similarly like that Quran debacle.

Jerome- “It is therefore the very same priest, who is a bishop, and before there existed men who are slanderers by instinct, [before] factions in the religion, and [before] it was said to the people, " am of Paul, I am of Apollos, but I am of Cephas," the churches were governed by a common council of the priests.
Let them not do this with sighing; for indeed this is advantageous to you." And Peter, who received his name from the firmness of his faith, speaks in his own epistle and says, "As a fellow priest, then, I plead with the priests among you, and as a witness of Christ's sufferings, I who am a companion also of his glory that is to be revealed in the future, tend the Lord's flock that is among you, not as though by compulsion but voluntarily."
These things [have been said] in order to show that to the men of old the same men who were the priests were also the bishops; but gradually, as the seed beds of dissensions were eradicated, all solicitude was conferred on one man.
But 'the rock was Christ, in confessing whom, as also the whole Church confesses, Simon was called Peter."
John Chrysostom - "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church'; that is, on the faith of his confession."

For this is the sacrifice spoken of by the Lord; ‘In every place and at every time offer to me a pure sacrifice; for I am a great king, said the Lord, and my name is wonderful among the Gentiles; (Mal. i. 11, 14).”
This doesn’t refer to Jesus’ sacrifice, but to “your sacrifice.” The same Greek word for “sacrifice” (thusia) is used of Jesus’ sacrifice (Heb. 5:1), but it is also used of doing good deeds, praise, and financial giving (Heb. 13:15-16; Phil. 4:18).
Wherefore also by means of it we are made partakers of the divine nature. my simple understanding of Catholicism is that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah he said that he didn't come to change the law Judaism but to fulfill it obviously he didn't start a new religion either but natural continuation of Judaism under the new covenant of his salvation for entire mankind.

"The only way to understand the relationship between the two covenants is to see that Judaism is nothing other than Pre-Messianic Catholicism, and that the Catholic Church is nothing other than Post-Messianic Judaism.
We know that statement is true because in God there is continuity. The two are one and the same. God does not divorce nor change His Divine Mind about human beings. Men do.
Yes 🙏 If Protestants would open themselves to _this_ reality, they would understand why Catholics _love_ being Catholic!
St John Paul II, pray for us
We are the communion of saints. The branches grafted to the vine of Christ. The church ascendant and the church militant. One above praying for us, one below fighting still the good fight.
How would you respond to the criticism made by the easter orthodox churches and from those ex-catholics how have gone eastwards?
That depends on the specific criticism.
Gregory of Nissa a heretic?
Or did he teach heresy?
Or were his writings misunderstood as heresy?
Misunderstood by some of us moderns, yes. But St Gregory wasn’t a heretic.
The Catholic Church is the Church of the Apostles.
Amen!

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Yes.
And St. Ignatius of Antioch was the Bishop there.
He was the first to use the word Catholic to describe the Church.

So wrong. Joe hears the authority established by Christ. He has studied to show himself approved. What does approved mean?
GHow many souls do you guess he has won by hearing and studying the truth, then sharing it?

I am a Eastern Melkite Catholic
The title of this video always makes me laugh, even a year later.
Me too !
How could anyone with any cursory knowledge of early church history come to any other conclusion. I mean it's written down and proved. If it is not true then who compiled the Scripture and destroy Heresies.

The Great multitude are those that have come out of the Grate tribulation . Stop commenting about something you know nothing about .and stop adding garbage to the word of God .
Don't be ignorant to the TRUE CHURCH FOUNDED BY JESUS CHRIST. This is the CHURCH PROCLAIMED IN THE WHOLE WORLD JUST LIKE THE COMMAND OF JESUS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO ALL NATIONS AND BAPTIZED THEM IN THE NAME OF FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT and today there are 1.378 Billion members in all nations and counting. Read: Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your FAITH is PROCLAIMED IN ALL THE WORLD.
@donaldcooley897 Don't be ignorant to the religions founded by men. Martin Luther the FATHER of PROTESTANTISM was a former Catholic priest who rebelled the church and established doctrines of SOLA SCRIPTURA AND SOLA FIDE are ALL HALF TRUTH. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:15 So then, brothers, STAND FIRM and HOLD to the TRADITIONS that you were TAUGHT by US, either by our SPOKEN WORD or by our LETTER. James 2:24 says A man is justified by WORKS and NOT BY FAITH ALONE.

I live in New Mexico where the Catholic religion is deep in many places.
I live in one of those areas. It is strong here and quickly defended if any-
thing is said against it. But what puzzles me to no end is why don't they
defend the legality and establishment of the good news Jesus Christ &
his 12 apostles began preaching and continued to spread throughout
Asia even to the Islands just as Jesus Commanded them to do? They
we're not Catholics but Jews, Israelites. His ministers were to go to the
nation of Israel first. Wasn't this message of God's Kingdom the begin-
ning of Christianity? I know the word ''Catholic'' means ''Universal,'' and
is believed to be the one and only true religion, if this is so, why did it
go astray from that assignment of preaching the good news as Jesus
taught, advancing it even to the most distant part of the earth? Some
where during the centuries after his death the Catholics didn't preach,
at any time about the Kingdom Jesus emphatically told his followers,
to carry out during his absence until he returns. A zealous Catholic
wrote: '' For over 1900 years there has been only one Catholic denomi-
nation. The Catholic church has its visible head his Holiness, the Pope
whose proclamations on matters of faith and morals are infallible ...,
throughout the world there is one Catholic Church!'' The only ones that
are carrying out this command as I honestly see it is the JEHOVAH'S
WITNESS religion, many are finding their way to the Kingdom of God!
They are obeying the command Jesus instructed his disciples to work
hard at doing and only they have spent over 1 BILLION hours a year in
the witness work throughout the earth and on every Island of the world.
The time is urgent and the end is approaching fast! The hour is nearing.
" and this good news of the kingdom will be preach in all the inhabited
earth for a ''witness'' to all the nations and then the end will come.'' Mt.
