The Heart of New York

The Heart of New York' was originally a song inspired by the remarkable way in which the victims of September 11th were able to communicate to their loved ones on the phone, under those terrible circumstances, Leila animated those words to accompany the music. I was very interested in the idea that some of the lasting legacy should be sentences and sentiments and words, rather than images of disaster.

Great work cousins! I was building a rather nice garden in the country near Salisbury, with the sun shining and the birds singing and it was impossible to equate that reality with what was happening in New York.
